Minpick

Move one thing forward now

$6.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

I used to lose five-minute windows until I began believing I could not move forward. MinPick turns small progress into trust in yourself. I used to think I could not move forward because I did not have enough time. Even when I had five minutes free, they were gone by the time I decided what to do. Small things I meant to handle stayed unfinished for days. Little by little, I began to think, “Maybe I am simply not someone who can make progress.” I was losing more than a few minutes. I was also losing trust in my ability to move my own life forward. I am not successful yet. Still, I now devote much of my time to development, and I feel that I am moving my life forward more than I used to. I did not suddenly become a stronger person overnight. I made a little progress. I moved one thing forward today. I made something slightly better than it was yesterday. As those small facts accumulated, my trust that I could make progress gradually returned. Action creates confidence, and that confidence leads to the next action. MinPick is an app for creating that first small step. Save things you want to do later together with their estimated duration. When some time opens up, simply choose how much time you have right now, such as 3, 5, 10, or 15 minutes. MinPick shows only tasks that are likely to fit within that time. You do not need to review a long to-do list. You do not need to reconsider all your priorities. Choose one thing you can do now and begin. Five minutes will not change your entire life. But the fact that you made progress in those five minutes remains. That fact becomes trust in yourself: “Maybe I can make a little progress next time too.” As that small trust continues to accumulate, it may eventually change how you use your time. MinPick is not designed to fill every free moment with productivity. When you need rest, rest without guilt. Use MinPick only when you want to move one thing forward but cannot decide where to begin.
