Snooker 900 Score is the official scoring app for the Snooker 900 format — the fast, fair, and structured way to play competitive snooker.
Designed for referees, match scorers, and club administrators, the app handles everything from the coin toss to the final frame — so you can focus on the match, not the maths.
COIN TOSS & BREAK
Select who breaks first after the coin toss with a single tap. The shot clock starts immediately and scoring is live from the very first shot.
SHOT CLOCK
A built-in 20-second shot clock keeps play moving. Pause and resume mid-shot — the clock picks up exactly where it left off. When time runs out, the foul screen appears automatically.
SMART FOUL PICKER
Tap the ball that was fouled on — real ball images, correct penalty values applied instantly. On a red it defaults to 4 points; on a colour, the nominated ball is highlighted so the right penalty is one tap away.
GAME CLOCK
The 900-second frame clock counts down in the background. At-a-glance warnings keep both players and the referee informed.
HANDICAP SUPPORT
Set a points handicap for either player at match setup. The starting score is applied automatically — no manual adjustments needed.
MATCH HISTORY & STATS
Every frame and match is recorded. Review scores, breaks, and frame outcomes after the match.
MULTI-FRAME MATCHES
Play best-of formats with automatic frame tracking, frame summary screens, and match winner detection.
Built on a precise rules engine developed for the Snooker 900 format — the same rules used at snooker900.tv.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
The shot clock now starts by hand
It no longer starts itself after a pot or at the start of a frame. The scorer
starts it once the balls have stopped moving, which is the only moment anyone at
the table can actually judge. Starting it also brings the frame clock back if it
was paused, so a shot can never be played against a stopped frame clock.
A shot-clock timeout can be waved off
If the clock runs out while the referee is mid-decision, or it simply should not
stand, NO FOUL records nothing and hands the clock back.
Frames that finish level
A frame whose time runs out with the scores level can now be settled at the
table. The app offers the tiebreak, scores the pots onto the frame score, and
records who won.
Scoring correction
Missing the colour after the last red left every colour still on for the
incoming player, who could take any of them for points they had not earned. The
clearance now correctly begins at the yellow.
Clocks you can hear apart
The frame clock warns through its last ten seconds in its own tone, lower and
longer than the shot clock's, so a scorer listening rather than looking knows
which one is running out.
Leaving and coming back
The frame clock used to hand back the time that had elapsed when a match was
left, locked or closed. It now returns exactly where it was. Matches finished
after being resumed also reach History properly, and the saved match appears on
the home screen as soon as you leave one.
Also: the break now alternates from whoever won the coin toss, rather than
assuming the first player broke.
