New version v2.1 What's new • Favorite albums: the star in the bar, after Artists, shows their grid; in an album, the star next to Shuffle adds or removes it. Jellyfin and Plex keep them on the server (Jellyfin favorites, 5-star albums in Plex), shared with their other apps; for UPnP / DLNA, they stay in the app. • Home: the covers of recently played albums, next to the player. A cover opens the album; the Play/Pause button plays it. • "Play all" and "Shuffle": two buttons, to the right of the title of lists (Tracks, folders, albums) and of the grid, play the tracks on screen right away in full screen, in order or shuffled. In full screen, the track list also offers to shuffle the album. • Update the library on demand, with a long press on Tracks, Albums or Artists, or at the interval chosen in Settings › Sources: every time, every hour or every day (Jellyfin, Plex, UPnP / DLNA). Improvements • A single bar, in the same place on every screen: Home, Folders, Tracks, Albums, Artists, favorite albums and Settings, then the filter. Artists replaces the grid's "All | Artists" choice. • Grid: a chosen album opens as a list, without starting playback. The header stays in place on a blurred background, with the server's name and, in the middle, the current track and its progress. • Full-screen player: Display, Audio and Info unfold from a "…" button; a title that is too long scrolls; when idle, the cover grows and the title shrinks below it, without a mini player. • Large Jellyfin and Plex libraries: only added or changed tracks are reloaded; without changes, an update takes 1 to 2 seconds instead of 20 to 90. A ring shows its progress. • Plex: very large libraries now load in full. UPnP / DLNA: folders are shown in full (they stopped at 200 items) and the grid shows all of the server's albums. • Albums with mixed formats (MP3 and AAC, for example): a single "Mixed formats" card instead of one per format; two complete versions of an album (FLAC and MP3) remain separate. • Channels: "2.0" or "5.1" instead of "2.0 Stereo" or "5.1 Surround". Fixes • Compilations without an "Album artist" tag: listed under "Various Artists", tracks in order; on Plex, each track shows its performer. • Top Shelf: an album opens with all of its tracks, not just the one that was played. • The library is now saved reliably: the Apple TV could reopen the app on an older version of it. • UPnP / DLNA: leaving the grid while it updates no longer leaves it incomplete. • Full screen: the track list of an album from the grid is no longer empty. • Home: the Now Playing card shows the playback time. • MP3 and AAC: no more "32-bit", but their bit rate ("256 kbps") instead; on Plex, ALAC shows its actual bit depth. • Settings: changing a value no longer shifts the settings column.

New version v2.0 New interface • Library: a single Folders · Tracks · Albums bar, shared by the list, the grid and the full-screen player; the active filter is spelled out and cleared in one click. The header shows the folder's path and the number of items; in an album, the artist, the format and each track's duration. • Album grid in 5 columns, with the format of each album ("FLAC · 96 kHz · 24-bit · 5.1"). During playback, a floating mini player shows the current track and its progress; when scrolling fast, the artist's initial is shown in large type and in an A–Z index. • Artists view: "All | Artists" in the grid groups albums by artist; each artist opens their albums, oldest first. Optionally (Settings › Appearance), the artist photo provided by Plex or Jellyfin replaces the album covers. • Full-screen player: larger artwork, the Folders · Tracks · Albums bar at the top left, and at the top right the Display (artwork, theme, spectrum analyzer, color shapes), Audio (gain, equalizer, presets, Pure Direct) and Info (track and file) menus. The track list opens in a floating panel, headed by the album. With the progress bar selected, OK pauses or resumes playback. After 30 seconds without input, the title and progress move to a mini player and the artwork grows larger; a setting keeps them dimmed below the artwork instead. Optionally, the background takes on the artwork's colors. • New "Color shapes" animation, alongside the spectrum analyzer: colored halos drift across the screen to the bass, mids and treble. • Home: a "Now Playing" card that reopens the player, whose Folders and Albums buttons lead to the library of the track's server; "My servers" and "Found on the network" sections, with each server's type and "Offline" when it does not respond. • Apple TV Home Screen: when MyMediaPlayer is in the top row, the Top Shelf shows recently played albums; select one to open it, or press Play to start it. • Settings: the selected setting is described next to the list; a single "Servers" screen gathers the Jellyfin, Samba and Plex servers. • Equalizer: "Simple · 3 bands" and "Precise · 10 bands" modes, a curve adjusted band by band, presets illustrated by their curve, separate gain. An edited preset stays marked ("Rock modified"). Changes • Playback continues in the background: the track appears in Control Center, where it can be paused or skipped, and the MyMediaRemote iPhone remote stays available. • In the library, the right arrow no longer opens the selected folder: it moves to the playback panel, then to full screen. A folder opens when selected. • The "Now playing" and "Letter" buttons are gone: the playback panel can be selected directly (long press: show the track in the library) and the left arrow still opens the A–Z index. • Tracks and Albums: the articles "The", "A" and "An" are ignored when sorting, as in Jellyfin: "The Beatles" is listed under B, and the A–Z index follows this order. Fixes • Tracks view: loading all tracks no longer prevents opening folders (Jellyfin, Plex). • UPnP / DLNA: the grid no longer merges several albums into one when the server's album view has a translated name ("Par album" on a French Synology); system folders (.AppleDouble, @eaDir) no longer appear. • Folders view: the A–Z index follows the server's order, including when it ignores articles ("The Alan Parsons Project" under A on Lyrion or Jellyfin). • Settings: the number of hidden servers under "Found on the network" now only counts servers present on the network.

New version v1.5 What's new • Jump to a letter: the "Letter" button, or the left arrow in the list, opens an A–Z index to reach an artist or folder instantly. • Spectrum analyzer: the "Spectrum" button in full-screen playback shows the spectrum of the music in real time. • Folder navigation with the remote: the Back button goes up one level, the right arrow opens the selected folder, and the position in the list is kept when going back. • "Screen saver" setting: keeps the Apple TV screen saver from starting during playback. Improvements • Much faster Jellyfin folder browsing, especially on small servers (Raspberry Pi…). Folders with more than 200 items are now shown in full. • When opening a server, the selection starts on the first item of the list. • In full-screen playback, when the controls are hidden, the Back button first brings them back. • Albums view: opens directly on the album currently playing, marked by a speaker on its cover. Fixes • Navigating between the buttons at the top of the library no longer gets stuck after the list has scrolled. • Closing the audio filter returns the selection to the "Filter" button. • In a server's settings, the selection no longer jumps to "Save" during playback, so "Test connection" stays reachable.

New version v1.4 • iPhone remote: this version is compatible with MyMediaRemote, the new iOS app now available on the App Store. The Apple TV can be controlled from the iPhone, with secure code-based pairing: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6802350681 • Multiple servers per source: you can now connect to several Jellyfin, Plex and Samba servers. • Each server has its own tile on the home screen, under its name. The name is set in Settings or, if left empty, taken from the server. • Home screen reorganised into scrolling rows that accommodate many sources; Jellyfin and Plex tiles show the service logo. • The app version number is shown in Settings. • Translations completed for equaliser presets and the gain setting.
