We score the danger in a city for your dates.
The weather and storms ahead, the ground beneath, outbreaks, conflict, crime and air. One number from 0 to 10, and a few clear lines on what is there. Most cities, most days, show nothing stirring. When something is, Scarab says what, how strong and which way.
CLEAR WORDS
"Subtropical Storm Josephine, with winds near 100 km/h, is about 470 km south-southeast. It is forecast to pass to the southeast on 22 October, about 460 km away. Gale-force wind not expected."
"A magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck near Pitaloza Arriba, Panama, on 9 October, about 80 km away. Very strong shaking felt. Enough to damage poorly built buildings considerably. Strong aftershock shaking not expected during the trip."
Scarab says what is there, never what to do. When nothing is stirring, it says that too.
ONE NUMBER, 0 TO 10
Every reading is measured against published science on one shared scale: the chance of serious harm to an adult in ordinary health who is simply there, taking ordinary care. The city's number is the highest of what Scarab measured, never an average, so nothing important is smoothed away. When nothing rises above the ordinary, the card shows no number at all.

Pick a city and your dates, up to a month ahead. Weather and storms read as far as forecasts reach; earthquakes, outbreaks, conflict and the ground from the latest record. Plan a trip of up to seven cities and read it leg by leg.
THE CITY ITSELF
Most cards carry a few lines on the place: the ground it stands on, the river or ridge that made it, and the festival or holiday on your dates. Dashain in Kathmandu, Navratri in Delhi, National Day in Beijing, with their dates.
MEASURED, NEVER GUESSED
Every number traces to a public feed or a record. No AI scores your card. When Scarab cannot read something for a city, it says nothing rather than guess.
