NEW - WIND ALERTS / NOTIFY-ME On any favourite spot, set "Alert me when wind reaches" 12 / 15 / 18 / 20 / 25 kt. A local, on-device heads-up fires when that spot's forecast reaches your threshold on a genuinely kiteable day - checked when you open the app or the forecast refreshes, daytime only, no notification permission needed. Drag the slider and everything moves in sync: the arrow rotates, the wind speed changes, the info panel updates (time, wind, direction, tide height and next tide), and the hourly strip below scrolls + highlights the matching hour. The info panel takes on the tide colour of the currently-viewed hour — green inside the good-tide window, orange near a caution tide, red near a HARD_NO band. LKSA auto-picks the best one for the wind on the day and bumps you to #2 or #3 if the primary drops out. Every trip gets a smart default target time (peak-wind window or hourly peak, with a "now + 3 h" floor for today) and an auto-generated title like "Saturday trip to Camber". The trip form surfaces the day's wind + tide + verdict for the primary candidate so you can sense-check before saving. NEW — LIVE ACTIVITY Once a trip is inside its lead window, a Live Activity lands on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island showing the chosen spot, wind, verdict, and next tide. Trips more than a day out swap the wind numbers for an "X days till you leave home" countdown. NEW — PRE-DRIVE REMINDER A local notification 15 min (configurable) before your leave-home time.
