Simpleat is a free and easy-to-use dinner planning app for households that want to quickly decide what to eat, build a meal plan, generate a grocery list, and schedule meals in their calendar, without switching between multiple tools or apps.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Set your preferences
Tell Simpleat how many people you cook for, how much time you have, and anything you avoid. You only do this once.
2. Pick your dinners
Browse recipes that already match your preferences, or filter by calories, cooking time, cuisine or ingredients you have at home.
3. Create your weekly meal plan
Add the recipes you like to create a meal plan.
4. Get your grocery list
Simpleat turns your plan into one organised list, with quantities added up across recipes and scaled to your household.
5. Put it in your calendar
Schedule each dinner on the day you will cook it, so the week is decided before it starts.
THE RECIPES
450 dinner recipes across 31 cuisines, from Greek and Turkish to Vietnamese, Mexican, Korean and Brazilian.
They are built for real weeknights. Most take 45 minutes or less, over a hundred are done in 30, and every recipe is around seven clear steps with no unusual equipment. Most of the ingredients are ones you can buy in a normal supermarket.
The variety is the point. With 450 dinners across 31 kitchens, you are not rotating the same five meals until everyone is bored of them.
