cecco is a working almanac of magic. It holds a catalogue of workings from many streams: traditional astrological magic, grimoires, folk magic, and living traditions still practised today. For any moment and place it tells you which workings the sky favours right now, computing the planetary day and hour, the moon's phase and sign, the lunar mansion, and the fixed stars entirely on your device.
Whatever a working's origin, cecco pairs it with the astrological timing that favours it, so you can act when the moment is right. It is built to be used, not just read.
WHAT IT DOES
• Reads the sky for right now: planetary day and hour, moon phase, moon sign, and lunar mansion.
• Surfaces the workings whose timing favours the present moment, ranked by how well the sky matches.
• Shows the planetary hours of the day on a clear dial, so you can see when each hour opens and closes.
• Finds a window: look ahead for the next favourable time for a goal or a particular working.
• Lets you browse and search the whole catalogue, and track the workings you care about.
THE SOURCES
The workings come from grimoires, folk practice, and living traditions, some centuries old and some still practised today. Some are edited for clarity or adapted from their originals, and where a source attaches a warning, that warning is kept with the entry. They are offered for use, with their context, not as professional advice or a promise of any outcome.
A NOTE ON CONTENT
This catalogue does not sanitize its sources. Some texts describe practices that are harmful, baneful, or disturbing, including animal sacrifice. They appear as the sources record them. Some workings can be genuinely dangerous, to you and to others. Use your judgement.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
cecco works entirely offline. It collects no data and needs no account. Your location is used on your device to compute sunrise and the planetary hours, and is never sent anywhere.

Shared links now open cecco straight to the working when you have the app — and show a clean web page with the essentials (and where to get cecco) for friends who don't.
You can now share a working itself from its page, not just a specific favorable window, so a friend lands on the working and picks their own moment.
The back button now stays pinned in a slim translucent bar as you scroll, on every screen, with the moon-phase backdrop sliding up behind the content.
On Browse, category filters scroll sideways in a single row with a soft edge-fade showing there's more.
Reminder notifications now show the exact window right in the body (e.g. "Fri 20 Jun, 15:14–16:02") so you can see when a working is doable without opening the app.
Fixed a pre-dawn header that could show the previous weekday; it now notes that the prior day's planetary day runs until sunrise.
