Scan a barcode and see the country that registered it, drawn as a map silhouette - fully offline. Reads GS1, ISBN and GTIN, with history and optional web search.
Barcode Country reads a product barcode and shows the country or organization that registered it. The whole lookup runs on your device - point the camera or type the digits, and you see the result instantly, with no network and no account.
Every barcode starts with a GS1 prefix tied to a country. Barcode Country matches that prefix against a built-in list and shows the country, drawn out as its own map silhouette. It also tells you when a code is not a country product - a store-internal code, a book (ISBN/ISMN), a periodical (ISSN) or a coupon - instead of guessing.
It reads EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and ITF-14, verifies the GS1 mod-10 check digit, and shows the canonical GTIN-14. For books it derives the ISBN-10 and the registration language area; for periodicals, the ISSN.
Scan a GS1-128, GS1 DataBar, GS1 DataMatrix or GS1 Digital Link code and it decodes the data carried in the barcode itself - expiry date, batch or lot, serial number and weight - all on your device.
What you get:
- Live camera scanning, or a built-in keypad when there is no camera
- The country as a map silhouette; reads EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and ITF-14

- A history of every scan, grouped by day - swipe a row to delete
- Copy the number to the clipboard in one tap
- Optional web search (Google, Bing, Yandex, DuckDuckGo) when you want to look a product up online
- English and Russian, and light/dark/system appearance
Private by default. The barcode lookup happens entirely on your device. No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and the app sends nothing on its own. The only time anything leaves your device is when you tap a web-search button, which opens your browser.
A barcode's GS1 prefix shows where the code was registered, usually but not always where the product is made. Results are informational.
Requires iPhone with iOS 26 or newer.
