A small update for more careful stories. STORIES YOU CAN TRUST Every story now keeps one rule without exception: nothing about any prophet is told unless it comes word for word from our vetted retellings. Counts, prayer times and the moon in the sky all match the story's own day.

Your story starts the moment it is written. READ RIGHT AWAY No more waiting for pictures. The story opens on a beautiful cover the second the words are ready, and the painted cover and pictures slip in while you read. Reading aloud is the heart of Qissah, and now it begins at once. FEWER, BETTER PICTURES One or two pictures placed where the story turns, not five scattered through it. Each one shows a moment from your child's own story, with your child in it. STORIES THAT READ BETTER ALOUD A stronger storyteller behind every tale: clearer endings, one thread from the first line to the last, and every object and person kept exactly where the story put them. Pets now carry names from our world too. As always: every Qur'an verse and hadith is quoted word for word from a vetted source and cited. Nothing sacred is ever invented.

The whole app now speaks your language. Choose English, Dutch, French or Spanish for the interface, the story quiz and the legal pages. The app picks it up from your phone and you can change it on the welcome screen. Try a story before you add your child. Ten starter characters are ready to star in a tale, and a signed-in family can turn any of them into a real profile with one tap. Pictures that tell the story. Each illustration now sits at the moment it shows, spread through the pages instead of at fixed points. The same courtyard, the same door, the same faces from cover to last page, and a home prayer ends on the quiet moment after it, with everyone's face in view. A calmer reader. Pictures sit as close to the words as the paragraphs do, the quiz waits for you mid-question, and the painting slideshow no longer flickers. Small things fixed: a returning guest keeps their story after a cold start, adding a child lands on the Family page, and the email sign-in keeps the social buttons one tap away.

A big update for story time: • Every child now has their own night sky. Finish a story together and a star appears; stars fill the moon, and a full moon brings little kindness cards to try in real life tomorrow. • The picture-book reader is smoother: tap to turn pages, fuller pages that use every inch of the screen, and read-along narration that follows word by word. • Listening is more reliable: narration keeps flowing on slow connections, shows when it is loading, and picks itself back up if it ever stumbles. • Story pictures are better at looking like your child, and the stars in the night sky shine softer and warmer. • Lots of small fixes and polish throughout.

Version 2.0 — our biggest update yet. STORIES AT THE LENGTH YOU CHOSE Short, Medium and Long now deliver the full read-aloud time you pick — especially for younger children, where the words stay simple but the story runs its whole length. TWO PICTURES IN EVERY STORY The cover and the in-story illustration are now two different moments of the same world, painted to belong together. PICTURES WITHOUT CHARACTERS A new switch for families who prefer illustrations with no people in them. Off by default; when on, every picture is places and objects only. SCRIPTURE THAT FITS THE STORY The hadith beside each story is now chosen to match the story your child just read — still quoted word-for-word, still always cited. A SIMPLER START Fewer taps to your first story, and a clearer place to add the small details that make it truly theirs.

New in Qissah: • Share a story — send loved ones a beautiful reading page starring your child, with a personal message from you. • Share a whole Kitab too — one link opens the keepsake book for family anywhere. • Try Qissah before signing up — create your first story as a guest, and keep it when you join. • Narration begins in seconds — listening starts almost instantly. • Building a Kitab is easier: include several children, reorder stories with a drag, and choose from a fresh cover gallery. • Plus warm little touches and polish throughout. As always, every Qur'an verse and hadith is quoted exactly — never generated by AI.

Also in this update: • Gentle storytime reminders — opt in and we'll help you keep the bedtime-story ritual going. Nothing noisy, ever. • A smoother start — the app now opens straight to your stories, with no flicker along the way. • Little touches of polish throughout, so story time stays cozy on both sides of the screen. As always: every verse and hadith comes verbatim from a verified source — never generated.

As always: every verse and hadith comes verbatim from a verified source — never generated.
