SHINNEN is an experimental app that asks a simple question: can directed human thought influence randomness? Quiet your mind. Hold a single intention. Then measure. MEASUREMENT MODES QUICK (5s) - A short session against cryptographic randomness. Single-phase, no baseline. Ideal for daily practice. NORMAL (20s) - A two-phase session with a baseline period, for a more careful reading. HARD (48s) - Uses physical sensor noise from the accelerometer and gyroscope as the random source, rather than an algorithm. Requires Airplane Mode ON, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth OFF, and the charger unplugged. The most rigorous experimental design in the app. HOW IT IS ANALYZED Every session is evaluated with NIST-style statistical tests. Deviation from expected randomness is expressed as a score, so results are comparable across sessions and across people. Commemorative cards are now kept with your account. If you have signed in with Apple or Google, the cards in your gallery return after a reinstall or a move to a new device. Cards inscribed while signed out remain on this device only. Your practice chronicle stays on the device, as before. The path you walked remains with the device; only what is inscribed is carried onward.
