Where its companion app Hausmärchen keeps the Brothers Grimm, Chapbook keeps everything around them: Andersen and Perrault, Mother Goose and the old sea ballads, Persephone and Baba Yaga, Poe's raven and the Wind in the Willows.

Every tale comes in a clear Modern text and a gentler Junior edition for ages four to twelve. A parent-locked Children's Mode narrows the entire app to the curated Junior shelf — no settings, no links, nothing to stumble into — when you hand a child the device.
QUIET BY DESIGN
No accounts. No ads. No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind. No notifications, and no runtime network calls at all — the whole library lives on your device and opens offline, on a plane or deep in the woods.
