Before you get in, know how cold it really is. Sea & Water Temperature shows the current water temperature at your coast, tells you what wetsuit (if any) you'll want, and rates how comfortable — and how safe — the water is for swimming, surfing and diving.
A bold thermometer-and-wave display gives you the sea temp now in °C or °F, with an honest comfort read from "warm, bathwater-like" down to "dangerously cold."

Water temperatures come from the Open-Meteo marine model for your location. Enable location for your coast, or browse sample data offline. Save spots to compare them anytime.

Sea-surface temperatures are model estimates and can differ from the real water at your exact beach, in sheltered coves, or at depth. Wetsuit, comfort and safety guidance is general advice, not medical advice. Cold water is dangerous — always check conditions and never swim alone before a cold-water swim or dive.
