For photos, the resolution stays the same; only the file size drops. - A compressed copy keeps the original's date, location, favorite and albums, so it stays where you would look for it. - Batch compression shows which file is in progress, such as "File 12 of 45", and keeps the screen awake until it finishes. - Select or deselect every file on screen in one tap. - Compression leaves Live Photos, portraits, Cinematic and slow-motion videos as they are, so they keep their motion, depth and frame rate. It also skips files that would barely shrink. - If a batch stops halfway, PhotoGO offers to sort out the originals and copies it left behind. Duplicates and albums: - Filter duplicate groups by size: 3+, 5+ or 10+ photos. - Delete a whole group in one go, best shot included. Photos you marked to keep or favorited stay. - Photos in a duplicate group appear in the order they were taken, with the best shot always in view. - The list keeps your place after you delete duplicates or compress a file. - Albums now live in the Library, with search. When adding to an album, choose a list or tiles; the albums you used last come first.
