Echocardiography reference values at a glance – guideline-based, sourced, offline, bilingual. For qualified medical professionals. Not a medical device.
For Good Measure is an offline-capable echocardiography reference for clinicians who need to look up guideline-based reference values quickly in everyday clinical practice.
Not a medical device. The app makes no diagnoses, gives no patient-specific recommendations, performs no calculations on patient data, and does not replace clinical judgement. It displays only general reference information derived from published guidelines — and is intended exclusively for qualified medical professionals.
FEATURES
• Five parameter types – reference ranges, graded parameters, severity tables, score tables, and decision algorithms • Full-text search – instant search across all parameters and categories • Favorites – mark frequently used parameters for quick access • Sex-specific values – switch between male and female reference ranges where applicable • Cross-references – navigate between related parameters • LV segment model – the left-ventricular segments at a glance • Source citations – every parameter links to its guideline; tapping "Quelle" fetches the guideline PDF directly from the publisher (kept in memory for the current session only); if retrieval fails, the DOI is copied to the clipboard • Bilingual – full interface and clinical content in German and English, switchable in Settings (German is the source of truth) • Dark mode – a Material 3 dark theme optimized for the clinical environment • Offline-capable – all reference data ships inside the app; the network is used only for the optional guideline-PDF retrieval
DATA MINIMIZATION
No user accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no patient data. The app collects and transmits no personal data to the provider. The only network feature is the user-initiated retrieval of a guideline PDF directly from the respective publisher's server.
SOURCES
Reference values are based on published society guidelines (including ASE, EACVI, ESC, BSE, SIECVI, and the German AWMF S2k TTE guideline). The applicable original guideline always prevails; every value must be verified against the original source before clinical use. All information is provided without warranty.

New feedback feature to submit suggestions or error reports. Feedback gets sent over the iPhone's email client, the app itself never makes outbound network connections for this purpose.
