Latchstring puts you at the front desk of a small, off-season hotel. An alpine lodge snowed in for the winter, a seaside guesthouse lost in the fog. Every guest who walks in has a polished smile and a quiet trouble underneath, and the game writes their story on the spot.
You don't pick from a menu of choices. You type what you say or do, in your own words, and the guest answers back. Be warm, be sharp, be honest or evasive. They notice, and they remember.
HOW IT PLAYS
- Each morning, meet the day's guests and the troubles at your desk.
- Respond in your own words. The characters react in the moment.
- Cash, reputation, and your staff's morale all move. You can't keep everyone happy.
- Reach the goal before the season ends, then travel on to the next hotel.
