This release is mostly about making the app trustworthy when your connection isn't. Offline and syncing • Edits and deletes made offline could get stranded in the queue, or be overwritten by a background refresh. Both are fixed. • If an edit failed to sync, the item was removed from your list even though it still existed. It now stays put. • The "couldn't sync" banner's Retry button now actually retries. Lists and sharing • Unsharing a list now asks for confirmation first, and a failure no longer clears the rest of your shares. • The Family tab refreshes on its own, so pending invites and new members appear without a pull-to-refresh. • Reopening a finished list no longer counts as another completed shop. Meal planner and recipes • Editing a meal plan someone shared with you created duplicate entries and silently failed to remove the old one. Fixed. • Fixed importing a recipe from a photo, and recipe images now load reliably. • Aisle colours now match the real aisle names. Accounts and notifications • New: sign out of all other devices, from the Account sheet. • Push notifications now register reliably even if your connection drops during sign-in, instead of silently staying off. • Signing out now clears device-specific state, so a second account on a shared phone gets a clean start. • Sign-in errors now explain what actually went wrong instead of showing a raw error code. Accessibility and polish • Text colours now meet WCAG AA contrast, and the login and register screens work properly with a screen reader and an external keyboard. • We no longer ask you to rate the app while you're standing at the checkout.

Not every night is a recipe. You can now add anything to your meal plan by typing it straight onto the day — "Takeaway", "Leftovers", "Dinner at Mum's". No need to save a recipe first. One-offs sit on the plan alongside your recipes, so the week reflects what you're actually eating rather than only the nights you cook from a recipe. And when you add the plan to a shopping list, the text comes across as an item — so the nights that still need something picking up don't get missed. Also fixed: the Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Snack buttons could appear cut off when adding a meal.

Add items by voice. • Tap the mic next to the add box and just say what you need — "milk, six eggs and a loaf of bread" becomes three items. • Everything you say goes to a review step first, so you can fix a misheard word before it reaches the list. • Your phone does the recognition where your language supports it, and Nimblist never stores the recording.

Skip it whenever you like, and replay it any time from Help & guides in your account menu. A Getting started checklist Your Lists tab now shows a short checklist: create a list, add items, invite your household, save a recipe, stock your pantry. It ticks itself off as you go, and because progress is kept with your account it stays in step whether you're on your phone or the web. It disappears for good once you're set up. Help & guides in your account menu Our how-to guides are now a tap away, instead of only on the website. Empty screens that actually help Recipes, Plan, Pantry and Family used to greet you with a blank page. Now each one tells you what to do next and gives you a button to do it.

Cook-along mode is here. • Tick off ingredients as you use them — they stay ticked while you cook. • Tap a step to mark where you are; the rest dim so you don't lose your place. • Start a timer straight from a step ("simmer for 20 minutes"). It keeps running with the app closed or your phone locked, and alerts you when it's done. • Lists now open ready to add items, instead of jumping straight into shopping.

Resolves an issue where photo imports reported an "Unable to connect" error

Recipe import just got a lot more reliable. Nimblist now captures recipes right on your device, so importing from a URL works on far more sites than before — including ones that used to block it.
