Pulse: Couple Wellness

For couples, near or far apart

Free · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

Your partner gets the meaning. Never the measurement. Pulse reads your body against your own baseline, on your phone, and turns it into one human cue. Pulse is not a health tracker for couples. It is a private layer between how your body feels and how your partner shows up. Your Apple Watch and iPhone already notice the quiet things: lighter sleep, a heavier day, energy coming back. Pulse compares today against your own recent weeks, on your phone, and turns the difference into one small, human sentence for the person you love, like "A calm evening might mean a lot today", along with one concrete way to be there: send some love, suggest something gentle, give a little space. Your partner gets the meaning. Never the measurement. HOW THE LOOP WORKS 1. Your body changes. Pulse notices a deviation from your own baseline, not from a population average. 2. Pulse understands the context. Your sleep, recovery and activity are read together, and the reading says how sure it is. 3. Your partner gets one sentence and one gesture. Never a number, never a chart, never a diagnosis. Their card offers a warm tap, a tuned suggestion, or a quiet "give them space". 4. The next morning, Pulse asks you: did how they showed up help? One tap. Your answer goes only to your partner, and it is what teaches Pulse which gestures actually land for the two of you. WHY COUPLES TRUST PULSE - One cue a day, gone by midnight. There is no archive and no chart of your partner's body. Pulse tells you how to be there for them today, then gets out of the way. - Your raw health data never leaves your phone. Heart rate, sleep hours, steps: your partner never sees the numbers, and neither do we. Everything is interpreted on your device. - It learns your baseline, not someone else's. - It sounds like you, not like an app. In Know Us, write down what actually helps on a hard day and what is better left alone. Your partner reads it in your own words, and Pulse weaves one line of it into the moment it matters. - You can simply say it. Ask for affection, a hug, time together or a little space, without having to find the words for it, and see when they are on it. - Some things are hard to say out loud. Write the one you have not managed to say down in Unsaid. It stays on your phone, private, for as long as you want. Later you can mark it ready to talk about, share it, or let it go. - A private space for just the two of you. Chat, playful gestures, photos and GIFs, and your shared "Our story" timeline, protected with end-to-end encryption. The keys stay in your iCloud Keychain, so nobody else can read a word. Not even us. - You stay in control, always. Every kind of sharing is a separate switch. Pause instantly, go invisible for a while, or end the connection and every shared record is deleted. - Cycle aware, entirely on your terms. Optional Rhythm Awareness gently shapes the tone of your cues without ever naming the phase. Sharing your real cycle calendar is a separate, deliberate choice, off by default. - Unusual moments are yours to share, or not. If Pulse notices a short window of unusual heart signals, nothing is sent unless you approve that exact moment. - Built for Apple Watch. How they are and what time it is where they are, on one card. A tap they feel straight away, the shared shopping list you can tick with both hands full, and a chat you can answer from your wrist. Double pinch to send a tap without touching the screen. AND THE LIFE YOU KEEP TOGETHER A shared shopping list, a watchlist, a wishlist, a shared calendar, notes you write in together, a date to plan, and the day you count from, with a quiet celebration on the anniversary. No account to create, ever. Pulse uses the iCloud you are already signed into, and your chat, timeline and settings are waiting on a new iPhone. Health data is never part of that backup. Pulse is a wellness companion, not a medical device. Its cues are gentle estimates, not diagnoses, and they always leave room for the context only you know. Every health concept in the app is backed by a cited, reputable source. Made in Vienna by two people who got tired of guessing.

Home is one page about today. At the top, the person you are with: how they are, what time it is where they are, and one thing worth doing about it, all on one card instead of three. Under it, what Pulse noticed, capped at two cards so the page cannot fill up again, and one ritual at a time. Everything you might reach for is now in one place. The wordless gestures, asking for something, and the thing you have not said yet. Some things are hard to say out loud. Unsaid is where you write one down for yourself first. It stays on your phone, private, for as long as you want. Later you can mark it ready to talk about, share it, or let it go. Most of what goes there is meant to stay there. Our Notes is a page the two of you write in together: the trip you are planning, the things the flat still needs. A mood can stay yours. Set one privately and nothing goes out, rather than something else going out in its place. And an evening reflection now travels in your own words. Four tabs: Home, Together, Chat and You. Together is your shared life, You is yours alone. Deleting your account now works in every language Pulse speaks. It did not before, and that was not acceptable. Two fixes worth naming. Pulse could decide a connection had ended when it had not. It watches for your partner's shared space, and a short gap where that space did not answer was enough. Ending it on this phone then removed what the other phone was watching for, so both of you could be disconnected within a minute, neither having asked. That now takes a full week of genuine silence, and anything the app cannot determine is no longer counted at all. And when the local database would not open, Pulse quietly kept everything in memory instead, so a restore appeared to work and was gone by the next launch. It now recovers onto real storage, and says so when it cannot.
