New in 1.1: count down to homecoming, race through five objectives, and let the journal write the story of your deployment — then agree on the prizes.
Deployment is a long time to be apart. D-Bingo turns it into something the two of
you play together.
One board. Twenty-five squares. One of you at home, one of you deployed — and the
same card on both phones, updating live.
HOW IT WORKS
Every square is something that happens during a deployment. The smoke alarm dying at
3 AM. The car refusing to start. Powdered eggs, again. Tap a square when it happens.
Tap it again when it's dealt with. Your person sees it immediately, wherever they
are, and can leave a note, a photo, or a reaction on it.
Get five in a row and the board celebrates. Keep going: double line, four corners,
the X, the blackout. Each objective is harder than the last, and each one throws a
bigger celebration.
COUNT UP OR COUNT DOWN
Track the days served, or set a homecoming date and count down to it. Either way it
lives on your home screen and lock screen widgets, so you see it without opening
anything. Your homecoming date stays private — it never appears on cards you share.
THE JOURNAL WRITES ITSELF
Every square, note, photo and message becomes a day-by-day record of the whole
deployment, built from what you were already doing. When you want it as a story,
Apple Intelligence writes one — funny where it should be, quietly honest where it
counts. Export it as a PDF in your theme, as a Word document, or copy it to send.
AGREE ON THE STAKES
Set a prize for each objective. One of you proposes, the other signs, and it's
binding — as binding as anything is between two people who miss each other. Doing
this on your own? Keep them as personal rewards instead.
THE REFERENCE BINDER
The plumber's number. The account number for the propane. Which breaker is the
garage. Everything the person at home needs and shouldn't have to text overseas for
— in one place, shared between you. When something breaks right now, the SOS tab
finds a contractor nearby and puts them on the phone.
NINE WAYS TO WEAR IT
Classic field manual, Night Ops, Northern Watch, Woodland Night, Maple Leaf, Care
Package, Victory Poster, Desert Rotation, Modern Heritage. Each with its own type,
its own ornaments, its own celebration. Pick per device — your person keeps theirs.
BUILT FOR BOTH SIDES
Choose whether you're holding down the fort or deployed, and the squares, the tips
and the wording follow. Fully bilingual in English and Canadian French. Everything
syncs through your own iCloud account — no accounts to make, no servers of ours,
nothing to sign up for.
Made by a military spouse who knows that holding down the fort is its own kind of
deployment.

1.1 — THE LONG HAUL
COUNTDOWN TO HOMECOMING
Set a return date and the day counter turns around: no longer Day 96, but 184 days
to go. On the board, on your widget, on your lock screen. Kept off your share cards.
FIVE OBJECTIVES, NOT ONE
A line was never the whole story. Now there's the double line, four corners, the X,
and the blackout — each one harder, each one celebrated harder, in the style of
whichever theme you're wearing.
THE DEPLOYMENT JOURNAL
Every square you marked, every note, every photo, every message — assembled into a
day-by-day record you never had to keep. Apple Intelligence can write the story of
it in a comedy-drama voice that has no business being this good. Export it as a
themed PDF or a Word document, or copy it and send it to whoever needs to read it.
TERMS OF VICTORY
Name a prize for each objective. One of you proposes, the other signs. Six months
of holding everything together should be worth more than a nice dinner. Running
this solo? Set them as personal rewards — signed, sealed, yours.
MILESTONES THAT FIND YOU
Day 100. Over the hump. One week out. Homecoming day. The moments that matter get
a notification and a small ceremony instead of slipping past unremarked.
PICK YOUR PACK
Choose the squares your deployment deserves — Deep Freeze, Appliance Mutiny,
Murphy's Law, Down Range and more — or let the app surprise you.
