Yr Tuner
Two variations of Strobe Tuner
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Two simple but unique and informationally rich variations on the strobe tuner concept.
The Lissajous is simple:
x - the tone being played
y - the nearest tone to what you are playing.
It plots x/y and you get the Lissajous.
The second kind is more traditionally similar to a strobe tuner. It is more complex under the hood.
Both are simple and effective. They are exactly the information you need at a glance without having to think about anything. You can see immediately whether or not you are getting closer or further from being in tune. You don't need to be able to read. You don't need to know how it works. Its as intuitive as it gets, you'll know right away once you use it without ever being told how to use it.
