Noonrre helps you cut down on screen time and build an eye-break habit by caring for a little creature. Spend longer on your chosen apps and it gets bloodshot. Complete a break and it recovers. Give it the tears you earn to help it grow.
■ Your chosen apps. 20 minutes combined.
Choose the social, video or gaming apps you want to spend less time on. When their combined usage reaches 20 minutes, Noonrre steps in and blocks them.
Just a little longer? Its expression gets worse. Tears-of-blood worse.
■ Look away for 20 seconds
Look into the distance and complete a 20-second break to clear Noonrre’s bloodshot state and unblock your apps. A fresh 20 minutes starts before the next block.
Inspired by the 20-20-20 habit: every 20 minutes, look at something about 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
■ Earn tears. Help it grow.
Your first completed break earns 1 tear. After that, complete a break once at least 15 minutes of in-app fatigue has built up to earn another.
Give your collected tears to Noonrre and it grows. Only by your hand.
■ Keep it on your home screen
Check Noonrre’s expression in the widget. With usage tracking enabled, its state changes based on time spent in your selected apps.
Usage is counted in 5-minute steps. Usage and widget updates may be delayed. The character’s appearance does not measure your actual eye health.
■ Care stays free
Tears are for growth. They cannot clear Noonrre’s bloodshot state, and neither can a purchase. Recovery comes from completing a break.
Earning tears, basic recovery and growth are free.
■ How we handle data
Your selected app list and detailed usage times are processed on your device and are not transmitted externally.
We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous analytics about events such as breaks, blocks and notice acknowledgments to improve the app.
