Every day, Kaught now picks one species for you to find: chosen for your area, the season, and what's already in your journal, with a fresh tip on where to look. Watch for the gold circle on your journal — when it glows, today's species is waiting. Billing and paywall fixes. • Your free trial now unlocks everything from the first second: unlimited leaves, the map, cloud backup, and no upgrade banner. Settings shows how many trial days you have left. • The Lifetime plan now appears wherever you open the paywall, not only during setup. Pay once and keep premium for good. It stays hidden while you already have an active subscription, so you can never be billed twice. • Tapping Subscribe before prices had finished loading could fail without a word. The app now waits for the store and completes your purchase. • The offer band now sits at the top of every screen, and disappears the moment you subscribe. • Creating your account now takes one screen instead of two.

Identification is faster, and a scan that cannot finish now tells you instead of spinning. Pets come back with a breed, not just a species. An empty collection opens on animals living near you. The nearby list has its own filter. Your count, search and filters share one row now. The intro is shorter and ends by opening the camera on your first find. Your subscription lives with your account, switching plans counts as a change rather than leaving, and a declined card gives you time to fix it. Plus the usual fixes and polish.

• Your own pins now show their true conservation colour on the map — domestic animals included. • Your profile counts the countries you've collected in, and lists what you found in each. • Fixed the Kaught Inspector animation stalling, and card sharing. • The daily limit is now clearly 25 captures per rolling 24 hours. • Cancelling premium now explains plainly what it costs: backup pauses, but nothing you've saved is deleted.

This update is about honesty and clarity: what a card tells you, and what the free plan gives you. CONSERVATION, FRONT AND CENTRE • Every card in your collection is now coloured by how the species is really doing: stable, vulnerable, endangered or critical. • New Domestic status for pets and farm animals. A dog is not "stable in the wild", it does not live there, and the app no longer pretends otherwise. A CLEANER CARD • The orange band and the catalogue number are gone. The card is the photograph now, with the name on it. • Type labels (Bird, Marine, Nocturnal and the rest) carry their own colour, and no longer appear twice. • Every photo is stamped with the date and time it was taken. Swipe through a species and each visit dates itself. • Meeting an animal again no longer shouts CAUGHT AGAIN across the top of the screen. KNOW WHERE YOU STAND • New leaf counter on your collection: see how many free encounters you have left today, before you head out. • The camera dims when your leaves run out, instead of stopping you mid-shot. MAP • One "Around the world" layer: your own encounters, plus real wildlife sightings published near you. • Tapping a sighting now opens its card properly. BADGES • Badges no longer interrupt you. Earn one and a counter appears on your Badges shelf. Open it and celebrate when you feel like it. FIXES • Signing in loads your collection straight away. No more closing and reopening the app. • Restore Purchases now tells you what happened instead of appearing to do nothing. • Billing and subscription sits right at the top of Settings.
