Three new missions every day. Pocket Arcade now sets you three small goals each day — play a few different games, get close to your own best, land a spot on a score table — and every one you clear pays XP into your Arcade Profile. Clear all three and you unlock one paid game free for the rest of the day, on top of the daily free game you already get, with a countdown on its card so you know how long you have. Your missions and your progress follow you between iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and playing on your watch counts just the same as playing on your phone. The missions live right under the Daily Challenge on the main screen, and your Profile now keeps a running count of every day you've cleared the set. No new game to learn — the missions are just reasons to go back to the 26 you already have. Thanks for playing!

Game controllers are here! Pocket Arcade now plays with an Xbox, PlayStation or MFi controller on iPhone and iPad — 23 of the 26 games, with the controls tuned for each one. Pinball puts the flippers on the shoulder buttons and lets you wind the plunger back for a harder launch. The racers steer with the stick and brake on the trigger. On-screen controls tuck themselves away while a pad is connected, and touch always still works — nothing is taken away. Menu drops you back to a game's menu and A replays from the end screen, so you can play a whole session without reaching for the glass, and every game's rules screen now lists its own controller mapping. Also fixed: the Arcade Profile date column, which read "M08 7" instead of "Aug 7". Thanks for playing!

A big Apple Watch polish pass across the whole arcade! Game-over and win screens now fit every watch size, and anything taller than the screen scrolls with a flick or the Digital Crown. Menus scroll everywhere so no button is ever out of reach, the rotating high-score tables now slide behind the menu in 2048 and Solitaire instead of covering it, and dozens of small fixes keep scores, titles and buttons clear of the watch clock and the rounded screen edges. Meet your ARCADE PROFILE — a level ring, XP and badges that track everything you play, synced between iPhone and Apple Watch. Every run now counts: earn XP for a first score, a new personal best, or landing on a game's top five, and see plays, best and last played for every game in one place. Chase eight badges, from playing five different games to a 30-day streak. Profile, leaderboards and Random are now one tap from the top of the hub. The daily free game is always a locked one, so there's something new to try every day. Plus a reworked analog stick across BePac, Neon Bomber, Dream Drifter and Smoke Rally, and two Apple Watch fixes: your watch play now counts toward Game Center, and the Digital Crown scrolls the game list again.
