The Weekly Catch League. Every Monday a fresh week begins, and the coins you earn set your place on a 30-player board. Finish in the top three and a legendary fish visits your tank for the week — there are seven, and a repeat winner gets a different one. It opens after your third catch. You can also set a name and pick one of your fish as your avatar. Board two now shows you what the Hint button does. Fixed: "Keep fishing" could take coins without adding time.

The tank is now a full-screen reef. Fish swim through depth — toward the glass and away again — and each species keeps to the water it belongs in: crabs picking along the sand, whales gliding in the distance. The teaching boards no longer clear a wrong number for you. It stays put until you spot it and fix it, the way a real board works. If you get stuck on one, a hand points it out. Your first catch is the clownfish.

The game is now available in Brazilian Portuguese, with a Language picker in Settings. There is also an optional daily reminder about your Catch of the Day and your streak. The game asks once when you first open it, and it is one reminder a day at most. You can turn it on later from Settings.

What's new in 1.7.0 Every screen has been redesigned, and the app takes about a third of the space it used to. Coins arrive: earn them for catches, wins and streaks, and spend them to keep fishing after a lost run. Starting out is gentler — a calmer clock, a steadier run of puzzles, and more room for mistakes on your first boards. You can now open Settings without leaving a puzzle, so you can mute mid-game. Also fixed: the Catch of the Day card no longer asks for a puzzle you finished.

Puzzles now adapt to your skill as you play, and every board is verified solvable by pure logic. A full-screen aquarium sits behind the home screen with a 45-fish collection to grow. Refreshed app artwork and icon. A streak view on the home screen. The How-to-Play guide no longer runs down the fishing timer while you read it, and the early difficulty curve is gentler.
