Glance is a fast, private translator for everything you read on your phone — plain text, screenshots, photos, and text inside other apps. Point it at a menu, a street sign, a chat message, or a paragraph you paste in, and get a clean translation in a tap. TRANSLATE ANYTHING • Text — type or paste, and translate instantly with auto-translate as you go. • Screenshots & photos — Glance reads the text in an image, highlights what it found, and translates it. • Any app — the Glance Translate keyboard lets you translate a draft without leaving the app you're in. • Share sheet — send text or an image to Glance from anywhere. BUILT AROUND YOUR LANGUAGES Pick your language and the language you translate with, switch direction in one tap, and keep your most-used languages at the top of every menu. A HISTORY YOU CONTROL Recent translations are saved so you can find them again, and you can clear them whenever you want. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your OpenRouter API key is stored only in the iOS Keychain. • Images are read on your device first; a photo is sent to your chosen model only when on-device reading can't handle it. • History (including screenshot images) stays on your device, and images are auto-deleted after the retention period you choose. • The keyboard types without Full Access; Full Access is needed only to send the text you tap Translate on. Drafts and keyboard output are not stored in History. BRING YOUR OWN KEY Glance runs on OpenRouter or any OpenAI-compatible provider, so you choose the AI model and pay only for what you use — no subscription and no markup. Add your OpenRouter API key, or point Glance at your own OpenAI-compatible endpoint, in Settings to get started.
