Radio channels now show the station logo, what's on and the clock instead of a black screen. The TV guide loads again for providers with very large guides, so programmes no longer run out in the evening. Switching channels no longer leaves a "did not start" message over a channel that is playing.

When a live channel stops sending, the app keeps trying in the background and tells you why. When the channel comes back, so does the picture. Movies and series resume where you left off and skip forward reliably again. Your Plex, Jellyfin and Emby libraries show up the way you organised them. Parental control is tighter: a locked category stays locked in every playlist. Five new themes, and category lists are now easier to read.

Save a film, an episode or a whole season to watch without a connection. It keeps going in the background. Delete a download you no longer want and get the space back. Open the film and tap Downloaded, or hold it in My Media. New in Settings: Diagnostics, which checks your connection and your subscription.

Setting a parental PIN now works properly — the fourth digit no longer looks like it was missed. The series page no longer jumps when you scroll back up.

A seventh theme, a quieter top bar, and a player that stops promising an action it is already doing. - New: CARETAKER, a seventh theme - deep ocean blue with a single warm accent. Themes are under Settings, Appearance. - Changed: the clock and the Multi-View button in the top bar were filled, glowing accent pills. They are now quiet outlined controls, so the picture is what stands out. - Fixed: while a channel was loading, the play button showed a play triangle and promised an action that was already under way. It now shows Pause, which is what pressing it actually does, and a single ring in the middle shows that it is still loading. - Fixed: with the guide's live preview turned off, opening a channel still took two presses, and the first one showed you nothing. One press now opens it. - New: channel results in search show what is on right now, not just the category. - Fixed: four places used their own fixed colours instead of your theme - the LIVE badge, the Pro screen, and two in Multi-View. The LIVE badge could be red while the guide showed LIVE in your theme's colour, two colours for the same thing on one screen. And on OLED Black, which exists to be completely black, the Pro screen was a grey box. - Faster: the hide-categories list recounted the entire catalogue on every keystroke in its search field. On a large library, typing there no longer stutters. - Updated: the video engine is new. This is the same update that fixes audio sync on Apple TV; on iPhone and iPad nothing was wrong, but both now run the same engine.

Hiding finally works everywhere, and the guide stops losing programmes. - New: movie and series categories can be hidden, not just live groups. Press and hold a category to hide it. - New: "Hide several" now lists the categories for the tab you opened it from. Opened from Movies it showed live groups before. - Fixed: with some providers every other programme was missing from the guide. - Fixed: guide times were wrong for providers that write the time zone in certain formats. They now match your provider's own listing. - Fixed: the guide's time-shift setting could empty the area around "now" instead of correcting it. - Fixed: leave the app open long enough and the guide went blank. It now notices and reloads. - Fixed: an empty answer from a provider could delete your films, from the screen and from the cache. The app keeps what it already had. - Fixed: Continue Watching could show a title from a playlist you had switched away from. - Fixed: film and series favorites from a removed playlist are hidden, not deleted. They come back when the playlist does. - Fixed: Skip Intro could jump so far it marked the episode watched and threw away your resume point. - Fixed: picture-in-picture could disappear when one episode rolled into the next. - Fixed: BACK could stay wrong for the rest of the session after visiting certain screens. - Fixed: a media server that answered 401 once stayed locked out for the rest of the session. - Fixed: catch-up did not work for anyone with two playlists. - Fixed: the preview could sit on "reconnecting" for ever, and switching channel now clears it. - New: a clock in the top bar, and sources show how long your playlist is valid for. - A blocked provider explains itself instead of showing an error number. - The library shows a spinner while the catalogue loads, an empty search says where the matches are, and ratings appear only when the provider sent one. - Stability and privacy fixes throughout.

Collections: your own named lists that can mix channels, media servers and local files. - A collection is your own named list of favorites. Put a channel, a film from your media server and a local file in the same list, and they stay together. - Collections start closed and open with one press. A closed collection shows a peek at the covers inside, so you can tell them apart without opening them. - Add something to a collection from the favorites tab, from the guide, or from a film or series page. An item can be in more than one collection. - Removing a playlist no longer erases its items from your collections. They are hidden while the playlist is gone, and come back when it returns. - Exporting favorites writes the collection name into the file, so it opens with your collections intact on another device. - Pinned groups can now be moved up and down into the order you want. - Favorites show which playlist each item came from. - Large guide feeds no longer run the app out of memory. The guide now reads the feed once as it arrives, instead of holding all of it at the same time. - Fixed: with two playlists, the guide could draw program blocks on top of each other. - Ratings now appear on the poster in the library grid.

Fixes the TV guide for large guide feeds, plus clearer names for two screens. - The TV guide could fail to load with a large guide feed and say it could not load guide data. The limit is now more than three times higher, measured rather than guessed. - The guide scrolls smoothly, and the small preview keeps playing while you browse instead of pausing. - You can switch the guide's live preview off under Settings, Guide, if you would rather it stayed quiet. - Two screens no longer share a name: media servers, local files and tuners are now under Devices, and bulk hiding under Hide and restore. Playlists are still added under Settings, Sources. - Backups no longer overwrite each other. Each one is saved with its own date.

Faster with big playlists, and a home screen that tells you what it is doing. - Adding a provider is instant. Large playlists used to make the app look stuck while it loaded the whole catalogue before accepting the source. It now validates with a quick check and loads the rest in the background. - The home screen no longer says it is empty while channels are still loading. You get a progress line instead, and errors appear there too. - Browsing is faster when you have hidden channels or groups. The more you had hidden, the slower the app used to get. - The TV guide keeps playing when you switch groups, instead of stopping the preview. - Switching between players no longer flashes the guide on the way.

PLAYBACK THAT RECOVERS BY ITSELF: a stream that stalled could sit on a frozen picture forever, and a dropped stream could be marked as fully watched and close mid-film - taking your resume point with it. The app now watches whether video frames are actually being drawn and reconnects on its own, picking up where the picture really stopped. The mini preview in the TV guide recovers the same way. MULTI-PLAYLIST: all your playlists are active at once, with Movies and Series grouped per playlist, and favourites, pins and resume points that survive across them. NEW: Backup and restore your settings, playlists and hidden channels to a file. NEW: Quick Connect sign-in for Jellyfin - approve from another device instead of typing your password. NEW: hide several channels or categories at once, now under their own Channels section. FIXED: exporting favourites on iPhone and iPad saved a file you could not actually reach - it now opens the share sheet so you can put it in Files, iCloud or send it on. FIXED: playlists are named after the server instead of the raw address with your credentials in it. FIXED: the guide now keeps your place instead of jumping to now, and shows a loading row while a large catalogue warms up.

FIXED: Stopping playback from Control Center or the lock screen now truly stops the audio - it could keep playing with no way to bring the controls back. NEW: AirPlay button in the player. Multi-View • Tiles no longer stop after about 40 seconds. Providers drop streams constantly; the app now reconnects instead of giving up on the stream. • Changing the channel in one tile no longer stops the other three. • Open any tile fullscreen with the fullscreen button in its corner, or press and hold the tile. TV guide • The channel list no longer jumps back to the top when you come out of fullscreen — very noticeable if you were far down a long list. • Tap the preview window to go straight to fullscreen.
