For every tree • Gentle growth: when you plant, you can choose a tree that grows slowly, over days. A gently grown tree may come out a little broader. • Crown renewal: once a tree has filled its space, it lets a few shaded old twigs fall twice a tree-year and regrows them in place, so the crown keeps changing. • Old wood thickens more and more slowly, so old limbs stay in proportion. • Pruning answers where you cut: new shoots grow back from the cut. • Every species has more room to branch before its crown fills. • Old trees wear scars, lichen and a hollow, and heavy old limbs bend under their weight. • An owl may roost at night in the hollow of an old tree. • A legacy seed can carry a rare sport: weeping, twisted, columnar, golden or variegated. • A soft cast shadow that follows the sun, and dappled light (Settings › Light & shadow). • A quiet felt-key music layer that follows the scene. • Green-thumb ranks, with photo mats to earn, and composition guides on the photo preview. • Quiet hours: reminders wait until morning. • A calmer one-screen Menu and a grouped Settings sheet, with Reminders and Backup & data pages. • Time away: growth while you were gone now follows how long you were away, gently tapering off, and the welcome-back note says what your tree did, including when it renewed its crown. • Reliability: sturdier saves and backups, safer iCloud sync, and many small fixes. Quiet fixes and truer trees. • Care pays off: watering now visibly grows a bigger, taller tree than neglect does. • Truer botany: bark marks and leaf detail stay put as a limb sways and grows, pine needles come in bundled fascicles, cypress fills in dense, and leaders stay clothed in leaves. • The ground stays lively: sparrows, deer, pigeons and crabs turn back at the edge instead of wandering off it. • Replacing your tree asks first, and the species you are growing is marked. • iCloud backup (Quietgrove Full) now says exactly where your grove stands — "on" only once it has really reached iCloud, and plain words when it can't. • VoiceOver: what you did and what the grove is doing no longer talk over each other. • Almanac, Settings and Menu polish throughout.
