Lazy Quips is a Mac menu bar app for AI prompts, saved replies, checklists, links, signatures, and other text you use often. Press Shift-Command-C, search by the text or its shortcut, choose an item to copy, then paste it wherever you need it.
Keep your best prompts handy
Save the instructions and checks you use again and again—for example, a coding task brief, a code review checklist, or the tone and format you want in a reply. When you need one, copy it with Lazy Quips and paste it into Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another app.
Lazy Quips does not integrate with these tools. It only copies the text you choose; you decide where to paste it.

Your text stays on your Mac
Your library stays on this Mac and works offline. There is no account or cloud sync, and Lazy Quips does not send usage data to the developer. It does not read what you type or what is already on your clipboard. It never pastes or sends anything automatically.
Free to try
Create up to 7 phrases for free. While Annual is active, or after a Lifetime purchase, you can add as many as you like. If a trial or Annual plan ends, your saved phrases remain available; the 7-phrase limit applies only when adding more.
Eligible new Annual subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. Annual renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
App interface languages: English and Traditional Chinese.
