zinema has a new shape. One feed of trailers, sound on, and under each one a single button that tells you where to watch the film: your streaming service or your Plex. The Filters sheet sets up your evening: everywhere or at home, only your own sources, who it's for, movies or series, everything or just new releases. Search finds a movie or a series by its title and opens its trailer. "Later" keeps a film that is available. "Notify me" tells you when a film that isn't out yet arrives. Film details and Where to watch now work without an account too. Without an account, your filters and services stay on this device, and they follow you if you create one. A new look and a new icon, on iPhone and iPad. Poster scanning is gone, so the app no longer asks for camera access.

The app now opens without an account: trailers start right away. An account is only needed to keep a film for later. The "Add to my watchlist" button stays reachable when you rotate the screen. It used to disappear on some films in landscape. On films that are not out yet, one watchlist button per card instead of two.

Rotating your screen resumes the trailer exactly where it was, with no reload. No more poster flashing before playback on fast connections. Skipping studio logos is more reliable at launch.

Rotating your phone now resumes the trailer where it was, instead of restarting it. Moving to the next trailer is instant: it preloads while the current one plays. No more black screen when you scroll. On slow connections, buffering now shows the film frame and a spinner instead of plain black.

Discover now comes first: one trailer feed mixing new theatrical releases, new on streaming, upcoming films, and the full catalog. Discovery first, your services second. • "Where to watch" on every released film: your options in one tap, with direct links to the platforms. • "This week in theaters" from your watchlist: the national releases, as trailers. • An icon in front of each title tells its nature: at home, or in theaters. • Onboarding questions flow better, and a green dot tells you when your "At home" feed is ready.

What's new: • On arrival, zinema asks where you watch: check your streaming services and their films join your feed. • If your Plex server is unreachable or empty, zinema now tells you clearly. • The Watch button now shows on the film sheet even when it arrives from a share or your watchlist. • Kanopy and Hoopla: the button opens the title search right in the service. • zinema asks for notifications at the right moment, after a real scrolling session.
