Dear Nobody is a space for the words that have nowhere else to go.
Not every thought needs a reply. Not every confession needs absolution. Not every letter needs to be sent. Dear Nobody exists for the unsent, the unsaid, and the unfinished, written honestly and held anonymously.
Safety and moderation: Public letters are reviewed by humans before publication. You can report any letter from the app, block letters you do not want to see on your device, and contact us at support@dearnobody.org from the More tab. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.

Each one is a release valve. There is no wrong choice.
Your anonymity is the foundation.
No account required. No email address. No name. No IP logging at the application level. We do not track you, profile you, or sell your data. When you submit, you receive a Public ID and a Private ID, your only keys to managing what you wrote. We never store your Private ID in plain text. Nobody at Dear Nobody can recover it. Your control is absolute.
The Mailbox.
Public letters, approved by human moderators, are collected in the Mailbox, a living archive of anonymous human experience. Read what others have written. Feel less alone. Every letter in the Mailbox is a fragment of something real.
The iOS app displays the standard moderated public feed only. Mature or explicit content options on dearnobody.org are not included in this app.
Private letters stay private.
If you choose Private visibility, your letter is never published. It exists for you alone. Delete it anytime using your Private ID, instant and permanent, with no questions asked.
Built with intention.
No likes. No comments. No engagement metrics. No viral mechanics. Dear Nobody is not designed to keep you scrolling. It is designed to give you somewhere to put things down.
