A new, lower-priced plan. DoubleDive Lite gives you 5 new problems a day with unlimited AI tutor feedback, so you can work through what you get wrong without the full Pro plan. Pro still adds screen-share voice tutoring, alternative solution paths, daily challenges and spaced review. Pro-only features now say so. Instead of quietly disappearing, they show a lock with the feature's name; tapping one explains what it is and offers to upgrade. Easier to get started. Your notebook, study log and problem list now offer a way straight to the camera when they are empty, and the add-to-home-screen prompt waits until you have actually solved a problem. The billing screen now names the plan you are actually on, and if your Pro came from a free pass or a coupon you can pick Lite or Pro for when it ends. Save a problem while you are still solving it. The Save button is now on the problem itself, so you no longer have to finish first. And if you ask the tutor where something is in the app, it now answers with the real button names instead of guessing. 'Leaderboard' is now called 'Community'. It was never a ranking — it is problems other students posted. When the answer we worked out is not among the printed choices, the problem screen now says so plainly and points you to the report link. Fixed: on narrow screens the Redeem button next to the coupon field could be pushed off the edge. Writing tools now toggle. Tapping the pen, eraser or text tool again turns it off, and turning on straight-line mode switches to the pen. If every tool is off and you try to write, the note says which button to tap instead of doing nothing.

Set how the AI tutor helps you. A new tutor settings sheet — from the hint bubble while you work, or from your account settings — lets you choose hint strength (a nudge only, the specific line and step, or the underlying rule as well) and the tutor's tone. Your choice is saved to your account and applies to both chat tutoring and screen-share tutoring. At every setting the tutor still never gives away the final answer. A wider notebook. You can now make the writing area 1.5x or 2x wider so a long equation fits on one line, and tap Fit to see the whole line at once. Also: when you pick several photos, the app asks whether they are one problem or a different problem on each page, and a canvas tool now turns off when you tap it again.

See other ways to solve it. Under the explanation there is now a "See other ways to solve it" button: the app works out two or three genuinely different solution routes for the same problem — for example a coordinate argument and a geometric one — so you can compare methods instead of memorizing one. The AI tutor also knows those routes now, so when you solve a problem your own way it gives hints along the route you chose instead of steering you back to a single method. Eleven more handwriting fonts (Ownglyph), downloaded the first time you pick one, and a new "My colors" skin: choose one accent color and a base tone, and the rest of the palette is matched for you. Study log, All problems and My notebook now have a subject filter row. After you finish a problem or ask about a concept, the app can offer one lightly changed version of a problem you got wrong before, from a different topic, so it sticks. Also fixed: an answer choice occasionally lost its number label.

Five pen colors in the notebook, so marking up a problem no longer means everything in black. And if you draw a line that is almost straight, it snaps straight on its own — keeping your original start and end points, with an undo button right next to the line if you meant to draw a curve. For a shakier hand there is also a straight-line mode you can switch on.

Your home screen now tells you before your Pro access ends, with the days remaining and what changes afterward. Bug fixes and stability improvements.

Scan a passage and its question as separate photos — they are now solved together as one problem. Chat with your AI tutor in a message bubble while you work, without submitting your canvas. A new Stop here button ends a session on your terms, and the tutor's voice stops with it. On iPad, text boxes now resize vertically, keep the caret where you tap, and no longer catch Apple Pencil strokes.

Watch your problem being solved right on screen — a progress card shows while the AI works, and you get a clear prompt the moment your answer and explanation are ready. Tapping the ready notification now takes you straight to that problem.

Smoother AI tutor calls: opening the quick explanation no longer ends your call, and if the connection drops for a moment the tutor now picks up right where it left off. Per-call limit raised to 2 hours.

The AI tutor screen-share voice sessions now work on iPhone and iPad — solve a problem out loud while the tutor watches your page. Spoken hints now start ~10x faster. Pinch to zoom into your handwriting on the notebook. Various fixes.
