WHAT IT CONVERTS
Images: JPG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, WebP, GIF, AVIF, ICO and camera RAW (DNG). Convert between them, turn them into PDFs, resize, and strip EXIF and GPS data before you share.
Video: MOV, MP4 and M4V, in any direction. Make an animated GIF, pull the audio out as MP3, M4A, WAV or FLAC, or save a single frame as a still.
Audio: MP3, M4A, WAV, AIFF, CAF and FLAC, any one to any other. Choose the sample rate and channels, and the bitrate for MP3 and M4A.
Documents: PDF to and from images, and PDF to text. Convert freely between TXT, RTF, HTML and Markdown. CSV and JSON convert to each other and to plain text.
Archives: create ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2 and 7z. Open those plus RAR (v4 and v5), preview the contents, and extract.
MP3 AND WEBP, ENCODED ON YOUR DEVICE
iOS has no MP3 encoder and no WebP encoder of its own. Convexy bundles the open-source LAME and libwebp encoders and runs them locally, so you can produce both formats without a file leaving your iPhone.
BATCH AND TOOLS
Convert a whole album in one pass. Also PDF merge and split, a QR code generator, archive compress and extract, file checksums (MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512, CRC32), and opening encrypted files. Those tools stay free after the trial ends.

WHAT CONVEXY WILL NOT DO
- Convert a photo back into camera RAW. RAW is unprocessed sensor data, and developing it into an image discards that data permanently.
- Convert a photo into true SVG. A photo contains no vectors. Convexy offers Trace to SVG, which redraws the image as vector shapes and labels it as the approximation it is.
- Restore quality when converting a lossy file to a lossless one.
- Create a RAR archive. Convexy does not create RAR archives.
