WoodLens is an educational identification and reference tool, not a structural, scientific, or appraisal authority. Identification varies with finish, lighting, weathering, and sample, and look-alikes are common — treat every match as a confident starting point, not a guarantee. Never rely on the app for structural, load-bearing, or safety-critical decisions. Some woods and finishing chemicals produce dust or fumes that can irritate or sensitize; always follow proper ventilation, dust protection, and product safety instructions.
PRIVACY YOU CAN READ
Your project log, history, and preferences live on your device. No accounts, no third-party trackers, no ad SDKs. When online recognition is enabled, the scanned photo is sent securely to our recognition service to look up the wood, is not retained afterward, and is never used for ads or tracking. SUBSCRIPTION
WoodLens Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Plans are offered weekly and annually (for example, $12.99 per week or $89.99 per year; promotional pricing may be shown at times). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Prices may vary by region.
