Ask Siri for the call: "Ask Stoked about Manhattan Beach tomorrow" gets you a spoken surf report — the score, the surf, the wind, the tide and your best window — from the same engine as the app. Works in the car, on AirPods and on the watch. Also: wind maps animate for future days in the forecast popout, tapping Forecast again resets the page, and the Home cards keep their data on the left and the wind map on the right.

Apple Watch: the spot name is larger and sits a touch lower on the face, the surf timer is twice the size and centered along the bottom, and the build tag is gone from the status line. Since 1.4.10 the phone's Home cards keep their data on the left and the wind map on the right on every card.

Apple Watch: fixes a crash on Start for surfers who do not share with Health. Tap Start and the watch locks; if Health is on, your surf is still saved as a Surfing workout with its route. The watch face now carries the same sky as the phone, shifting with the hour from first light to dusk. Phone: the Home and Forecast backgrounds now follow the hour you have selected, from first light to dusk. The forecast charts are gone; swell energy sits under the surf height and the wind cell shows its direction. Card footers are simpler.

Apple Watch: Water Lock you can count on. Tap Start and the watch locks, whether or not you share with Health. If Health is on, your surf is still saved as a Surfing workout with its route. The status line now tells you plainly when something is in the way, and a tap on the timer locks again. Stok'd asks for Health once, when you first open the watch app, so Start is a single tap at the beach.

Stok'd on Apple Watch. Raise your wrist and see the four numbers that matter for the spot you're standing at: tide with the curve and the next high or low, swell energy, both swell trains, and wind with its direction. Turn the crown to page through nearby spots, nearest first. Tap Start when you paddle out: Water Lock turns on, the face stays pinned to your spot, data keeps refreshing, and your surf is saved to Health as a Surfing workout with its route. No service in the water? The watch keeps the last forecast and shows how old it is. Live cams go wide. Expand a live stream and turn your phone sideways to fill the screen; turn it back to return. Board Shop. Portrait photos frame cleanly with pinch to fit. Price is optional: leave it blank and buyers see "Ask." Sellers can hide, unhide, or delete a listing. Fixes: the rating prompt asks once, the wind map keeps its size after rotating, and a handful of small things surfers told us about.

NEW IN 1.4.6 — CHAT UPDATES: emoji reactions on messages (long-press any message; the same sheet keeps Report / Block / Mute / Delete), group photos (upload restricted to the group's owner and admins; members cannot change them), member management with admin roles, invite links/QR with expiry, and join requests the owner approves or declines. The reviewer account above is pre-connected with a demo user, has an active DM thread, and is a member of a demo group — tap the Chat tab after signing in to exercise all of it immediately. USER-GENERATED CONTENT: users can report any message or profile and can block or mute other users (long-press any message for the safety menu). Group photos and chat images go through the same report pipeline. Reports feed a moderation queue with server-side content filtering and automatic quarantine of reported content. What's New (1.4.4): The Bay Street board is here — a public message board for the spot. Anyone can read, members post. Live wave, swell, tide, and wind pinned at the top, so every "it's firing" comes with receipts. Photos & video in every chat — shoot or pick, send it, save it. Videos play right in the thread. @spot mentions — type @ and a spot name in any chat and it becomes a card with the conditions frozen at that moment. When you said it was good, proof included. Sounds like the ocean — new notification sound, with more to choose from in Settings. Plus: your best spot highlighted for each day on the Forecast tab, metric units, more avatar styles, a roomier time scrubber, and smoother, more accurate tide readings everywhere.
