YOUR OWN HERD • Rewrite any reindeer logbook in your own words - name, role, favourite treat, temperament and stable note • Add characters of your own, up to nine, each with an image from your camera or library • Borrow a stable cam for a character of your own, so they have footage to show • Hide reindeer you never use, keeping any wording you have changed • Put everything back to the app's own herd whenever you like PRINTABLE REINDEER CARDS • Print the whole stable as a sheet of cut-out cards, portraits and all, to hand round the room or leave behind as a keepsake WHEN A FAMILY IS DUE • Give a visit a time and a date, chosen rather than typed • Sort the queue into running order, and head each day when it spans more than one • Imported lists carry their times across, in either British or American date order CLEARER, KINDER TO READ • Guidance on signing "Merry Christmas" now points to trusted sources for BSL and ASL rather than teaching it in the app • Small labels throughout are larger and easier to read in a dim room • Buttons and fields grow properly at the largest accessibility text sizes REPAIRS • The keyboard no longer covers what you are typing, on any screen • Editing a character no longer loses the photograph you gave them • A cut-out card no longer trims a long treat or temperament down to nothing • The stable cam is chosen from a labelled list rather than a row of numbers • Removing a character returns you to the gallery

Your own stories by the fireside. Paste a favourite story, poem or carol into the Christmas Fireside and it joins your library — same reader, same auto-scroll, same printable sheet as the pieces that come with the app. Text copied from a PDF has its line breaks tidied automatically. You can also choose the sound a scheduled message makes when it arrives.

Update for grotto and party Santas working through a busy day. IMPORT A DAY'S BOOKINGS Load your day from a spreadsheet. Export a CSV from your booking system and the console reads the names, ages, notes and wishes straight into Up Next. Children on the same booking are grouped into one visit automatically. You see exactly what will be added before anything joins the queue, the file is read on device and never uploaded. NO NAME NEEDED A new Backstage option for where you don't have names in advance. The Nice List still verifies with all the ceremony, just without asking for a name first. RUNNING THE QUEUE Mark a family as seen, move the next one to the front if they arrive early, and clear the day down when you're finished — with a chance to undo if you tap by mistake. MORE ROOM FOR DETAIL Record special requirements, a present type and the booker's surname alongside each child, so nothing has to be held in your head on the day.
