This update improves saved-deck recovery and makes subscription information clearer. • If saved data cannot be read, PalmCards now shows a recovery screen with Retry instead of replacing your decks with demo content. • Subscription prices include a currency code, and free-trial wording reflects the offer available to you. • Restore Purchases now shows progress and a clear result, with improved feedback for pending purchases.

Word documents import straight in. Wrote the speech in Word? Open PalmCards, tap Import a file on the New deck screen, and a .docx comes back as cards with cue lines. Plain text and your own PalmCards decks and backups still import too. PDFs do not yet, and the app now says so plainly instead of listing file extensions at you. Ask for the change you want. Tighten and Expand were the only two edits the AI could make. Now there is Ask, next to them on any card. Type what you want changed in your own words, "cut the second half", "more formal for a board", "add a line about pausing for the laugh", and the cue lines come back rewritten. Undo is right there if you preferred the old ones. Know what you will be asked. Likely questions reads a finished deck and gives you the questions it invites, hardest first, including the ones the talk quietly avoids. Each comes back as a card with cues for the answer, so the Q&A gets prepared like the rest of it. Part of Pro. Smaller things. The Lesson Outline template is now third in the list rather than buried sixteenth, which is where teachers were looking for it.

Clearer about what advances your cards The Settings row for hands-free advancing is now called Volume-key advance, and it says what it does. It works with your volume buttons, and with clickers that send volume keys. Presenter remotes that send page-up and page-down do not work in PalmCards, and nothing in the app suggests otherwise any more. A Pro benefit we were not telling you about Pro exports a clean PDF with no PalmCards footer. That has been true since the last release and the upgrade screen never mentioned it. It does now. A better lesson plan template Rebuilt with a teacher of thirty years. It opens with a materials and equipment card, puts retrieval practice before new content, and still runs to twelve minutes. Smaller things On an empty card the AI button now says Draft rather than Expand, because that is what it does. Template cards line up in the grid. Clearer wording on the How To screen.

Present mode now stays dark on stage, so your screen won't light up your face. A clearer prompt when you reach the Pro features. Plus a few quiet refinements.

New in this version: • A friendlier first-run walkthrough that shows you the ropes • A quick "How to use PalmCards" guide you can find any time, in Settings • Clearer wording on the template cards • Fixed a rare case where clearing all data left the app on an empty screen

Now a proper iPad app PalmCards fills the iPad screen instead of running in a small phone-sized window. Present mode sets your cards in much larger type, which is what you want when the iPad is propped up and you are reading at arm's length. Split View and Stage Manager are supported. Pacing you can read without looking down Bold pace emphasis now changes what you see, not just what you feel. Drift off your planned time and a soft colour bar runs down both edges of the screen: sage when you have time in hand, amber when it is time to lean in. It sits at the edge of your vision, so you can tell where you are without taking your attention off the room. On pace stays quiet, as it should. New installs get this by default. If you already have PalmCards, switch Pace emphasis to Bold in Settings. Smaller things Clearer wording on the New deck screen, so it is obvious you can paste in a whole written speech and get cards with cue lines back.

Sound effects and volume-button card control now work properly in Present mode. Long cards now shrink neatly to fit the screen. Paste is fixed. Import now accepts plain text files and lives right on the New deck screen. PDF export has a fresh, cleaner design. And there's a new Expand with AI option in the card editor, to give a thin card more to work with.

Clearer pricing on the Pro screen.
