Clearer about what advances your cards The Settings row for hands-free advancing is now called Volume-key advance, and it says what it does. It works with your volume buttons, and with clickers that send volume keys. Presenter remotes that send page-up and page-down do not work in PalmCards, and nothing in the app suggests otherwise any more. A Pro benefit we were not telling you about Pro exports a clean PDF with no PalmCards footer. That has been true since the last release and the upgrade screen never mentioned it. It does now. Now a proper iPad app PalmCards fills the iPad screen instead of running in a small phone-sized window. Present mode sets your cards in much larger type, which is what you want when the iPad is propped up and you are reading at arm's length. Split View and Stage Manager are supported. Pacing you can read without looking down Bold pace emphasis now changes what you see, not just what you feel. Drift off your planned time and a soft colour bar runs down both edges of the screen: sage when you have time in hand, amber when it is time to lean in. It sits at the edge of your vision, so you can tell where you are without taking your attention off the room. On pace stays quiet, as it should. New installs get this by default. If you already have PalmCards, switch Pace emphasis to Bold in Settings. Smaller things Clearer wording on the New deck screen, so it is obvious you can paste in a whole written speech and get cards with cue lines back.

Sound effects and volume-button card control now work properly in Present mode. Long cards now shrink neatly to fit the screen. Paste is fixed. Import now accepts plain text files and lives right on the New deck screen. PDF export has a fresh, cleaner design. And there's a new Expand with AI option in the card editor, to give a thin card more to work with.
