A fix for anyone sharing lots of recipes in a row: • When you shared several reels or links quickly, the queue could break off as soon as the app went to the background — and recipes were lost. Fixed: interrupted imports stay in the queue and are finished afterwards.

The app now also speaks German and Spanish, plus cooking-mode improvements: • Full German and Spanish translation — set your device to that language and the whole app follows. • New: set your own timer in cooking mode, alongside the automatically detected ones. • Timer fix: 'a couple of minutes less than stated' no longer suggests a wrong timer.

A warmer welcome, more reliable sharing and even more custom icons: • A refreshed welcome screen that shows what the app does — save recipes from socials, a photo or a website, cook-from-your-fridge, smart shopping list, weekly planner and family sharing. • Sharing a recipe now works with large photos too (they're downscaled automatically — no more error). • Many more hand-drawn ingredient icons — lots of ingredients that used to show a neutral dot now have their own. • Amounts read more naturally: '6 eggs' instead of '6 pcs eggs'. • New users no longer start with an empty collection: a few example recipes are ready to go. • Fixed small display glitches.

A fresh, custom look and a smarter shopping list: • New: hand-drawn custom icons for ingredients and throughout the app — a visual identity of its own that adapts to your theme. • Smart add with suggestions as you type, plus handy per-product quantity choices. • New "Coffee & Tea" aisle and a calmer, tidier list in every theme. • Recipe ingredients land more neatly on the list ("cold espresso" simply becomes coffee). • In the classic theme, preparation steps are now numbered, with atmospheric hand-drawn backgrounds on Fridge, Meal plan and List.

Shopping list improvements: • Ingredients land more cleanly on the list: preparation and state words are dropped (so "melted butter" becomes butter and "fresh grated ginger" becomes ginger), and singular/plural now agree ("1 egg", "3 eggs"). • The same products merge into a single line instead of duplicate rows. • Deleting items from the shared list is smoother — no briefly appearing duplicates, leftover headers or gaps.

New in 2.3: • Share your recipes with your family. Turn on sharing in Settings and everyone with the same family code sees each other's recipes on separate shelves at the top of the Collection. Tap a recipe to view it and save it to your own collection with one tap. • You decide whether to share (off by default) and under which name. Turn it off and your recipes are private again. • Improved privacy and many small under-the-hood improvements.

This update fixes a rare background crash that could occur on iOS 26.6, which sometimes delayed the processing of shared recipes until you opened the app manually. Plus a few small under-the-hood improvements.

Improvements in 2.2.2: • Recipes from videos: spoken ingredients are recognised far more reliably, including tricky names like shoyu or furikake. Speech models are now ready before your first import. • Servings match the source: if a video makes one portion, you get one portion — no more doubled quantities. • While editing you can now drag ingredients and steps to reorder them. • Cost: the recipe total now follows the servings stepper. • Better icons for more ingredients, and sauces show a bottle instead of a can. • Extra stability and many small improvements.

New in 2.2: • Cost per serving: see roughly what a dish costs, plus a weekly total in your meal plan. • Smarter reel import: when the caption is thin, the app listens to and reads the video itself (entirely on your device) for a more complete recipe. • Pick your own recipe photo: on import the app shows a set of candidate frames to choose the nicest from — and the automatic choice got much better. • Swipe between recipes: swipe left or right within a recipe to the previous or next one. • Fresh look: refined tape in the Klassiek theme and a bento mosaic in the Modern theme. • Collections are now collapsible, so your recipes sit higher.
