Watching live is still in beta. The score is now sent right after every point, and those following along check for updates more often. Fixed: in singles, the players from the doubles line-up were invited instead of the actual opponent. An opponent picked on the watch was also lost if you picked them right after opening the app. If the scorekeeper's watch cannot send the score, it now shows the reason.

Watching live actually works now: joining a running match failed before, because the other player simply could not find it. That is fixed. If you are in the line-up, the match now shows up and you can follow along. The app also tells you WHY when it does not work: a connection problem is now named as one, instead of "nobody is keeping score right now". And the position (R/L) now also appears for whoever is keeping score, not just for those following along. On a change of ends the names move to the other half of the court.

Watch live (Beta): When a fellow player is keeping score on their watch, you can now follow along – on your watch or on your iPhone. You see points, serve and who is standing where. After the match it lands in your app together with your own workout. Key moments: Break points, golden points, the first point of a game and the first game after the change of ends now appear in your stats. Position R/L: The watch can show who plays on the right and who on the left – from your point of view, so you can check at a glance that everyone is in place. Also: You can now choose your own player name. Names with accents and special characters work reliably. And your matches and your rating make it to the leaderboard again.

You can now change your player name – in Settings or straight from your card on the Friends page. Until now there was no way to do it: anyone who joined was stuck with the name the app had assigned automatically. Names with accented characters now work the way you write them – Jörg, José or Åsa are no longer rejected or mangled.

Important privacy fix: shared matches and tournaments no longer contain any health data. Heart rate, heart rate curve, calories and distance stay on your device – only the match itself is shared. Previously received results are cleaned up automatically on launch. Also: • The tie-break again shows WHO is serving • Draw the first serve – on the watch and in tournaments • The set detail now shows the server for every game • Short names for the watch so names fit completely • The shared image shows the match momentum

In the tie-break you can once again see WHO is serving – not just which team. That was missing only there. • Draw the first serve: a fixed player, a team (player is drawn) or freely across all four – on the watch and in tournaments • If two recordings of the same match differ, you can now compare exactly where – down to the single point • The watch said “Wir gewinnt!” at the end of a match – fixed • The shared image now also shows the match momentum

A brand new home screen: your rating, your last match and your weekly goal at a glance – no digging. • Head-to-head record against and alongside every friend, across years • Heart rate and momentum on one timeline – see point by point when a match turned • Serve stats: points on serve, service games held, breaks • Milestones from real matches • History grouped by month, with the opponent on the first line

Shared matches now count towards your statistics – but only if you are listed in the match by name or friend code. The result is turned around to your point of view. Abandoned tournaments are now marked as such in your history. New in Settings: “Suggest an improvement” and “Report a problem”. The switch for anonymous statistics now sits at the end of the privacy policy. You can now try the yearly plan free for a whole month – it used to be two weeks. And if you like PadelScore: Settings now has “Rate the app”.

A match played to the end is now saved right away. When the match is over your watch simply asks whether it is really finished: Yes saves and transfers it, No takes back the last point so you can keep playing. Also: results stay on the watch until your iPhone confirms it received them. And if a workout has no score attached, you can add it later from your history – duration, heart rate and calories are already filled in.

New: a switch in Settings for anonymous usage statistics (on by default). It helps me see which features are actually used - without names, results or health data. You can turn it off at any time. The privacy policy has been updated accordingly. Plus small improvements and fixes.
