Fixed: journal photos could show as grey placeholders after updating the app. Your photos were always safe on your device, and they now display again automatically. New: QuestPort now spots an accidental duplicate trip (same country, same dates) and checks with you before saving it. Plus: achievement banners can be swiped away, quest details are easier to swipe closed, and small polish across Travel Stats.

• Achievement unlocked! Completing a quest now pops a console-style banner with its own chime, wherever you are in the app. Tap it to jump straight to your new achievement. • Share your achievements: completed quests have a share button that makes a story-ready card of the badge for Instagram, iMessage or anywhere else. • Add several photos at once. The journal, Add from photo and trip editing all accept multi-photo picks, filling places and dates from the whole set. • Export and import your data: save every trip, journal entry and photo as one backup file you keep, and restore it on any phone. • Journal photos are stored far more efficiently, so backups stay fast and small. Your originals in the Photos app are untouched. • QuestPort is now a much smaller download. • Journey pages link both ways: jump to the next or previous leg from any page of a combined journey. • Fixes: your home base no longer counts as a visit in yearly stats or unlocks achievements, and Settings now tells you honestly if an iCloud backup could not finish.
