WHY A STAR RATING ISN'T ENOUGH A 4.4 rating tells you almost nothing. It blends unrelated things — a pretty interior, a friendly waiter, a dirty kitchen — into one non-informative digit. It can't separate "looks nice" from "made people sick." Goler can.
