LuluStories: personal stories
Personalized story books
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Your child is the hero. Choose the theme, the characters, and the art style, and a one-of-a-kind illustrated story is ready in minutes.
LuluStories turns your child into the hero of their very own storybook. In just a few minutes, create a beautifully illustrated, personalized story — then read it together, listen to narration, save it to your library, or order a printed keepsake.
Every story is one of a kind. Choose your child's name and look, add siblings, friends, or family as companions, pick a theme and an art style, and watch an original story with matching illustrations come to life.
CREATE PERSONALIZED STORIES
Tell us who the story is for and what it should be about. LuluStories writes the tale and generates coherent illustrations page by page — typically ready in a few minutes. Choose genres like adventure, fairy tale, friendship, mystery, humor, or calm. Set length, age range, writing style, and illustration styles from classic storybook to anime, comic, and more.
YOUR CHILD AS THE CHARACTER
Upload a photo for a consistent character portrait, or describe how your hero should look. Keep the same character across many stories so your child always recognizes themselves. Add multiple characters so siblings, classmates, or grandparents can share the adventure.
100+ STORY LANGUAGES
Write and read stories in over 100 content languages — ideal for bilingual and multilingual families. The app is available in English, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish. Parents navigate in their language; stories generate in the language their child is learning or speaking at home.
READ, LISTEN, AND FOLLOW ALONG
Open stories in a beautiful digital reader. Use built-in narration to listen together — follow the text word by word. Narration covers a wide set of supported story languages. Save favorites and build a growing library of personal stories.
PRINT A KEEPSAKE
Love a story? Order a premium printed storybook to hold, gift, or put on the shelf. Digital stories stay in your library; printed books turn favorite adventures into something lasting.
DISCOVER COMMUNITY STORIES
Explore a curated Discover feed from the LuluStories community for inspiration. Find new themes, art styles, and ideas — then create your own. Report or block content anytime so parents stay in control.
