DropPocket is a temporary file shelf and file utility for Mac. Drag files into the pocket at the top of your screen, release the mouse, switch windows, then drag them to your destination. You can also compress ZIP archives, convert images, extract text, or send files with AirDrop.
Gather project assets, hold email attachments or collect documents for different folders. Keep them together while you decide what comes next.
STAGE AND ORGANIZE
• Drag in files and preview their names and thumbnails
• Hold ⌘ and click to select multiple files, then drag them out together
• Hold ⌥ Option while dragging out to keep files in the pocket
• Copy or move to a folder, copy files and paths, or reveal items in Finder
• Open the pocket from the menu bar and optionally launch at login
• Choose Standard, Expanded, or Wide for your pocket width
• On displays without a notch, hold Control + Option to temporarily hide the pocket and access menu bar icons
EVERYDAY FILE TOOLS
• Browse file actions by category or search by action name
• Press Command + K to focus search and Return to run the first matching action
• Compress files into ZIP archives
• Convert images and adjust image quality and resolution
• Calculate MD5, SHA and CRC32 checksums
MORE WITH PRO
• Extract text from images and PDFs with OCR processed on your Mac
• Encrypt files or decrypt supported encrypted archives
• Send files with the AirDrop quick action or open the system Share menu
• Remove the pocket's file-count limit
