When you start, you say what you want to work on and what's holding you back, and pick how your coach sounds. Your missions and your coach follow from there. EVERY DAY • First, learn terms like the Pareto principle, as many as you like: a three-answer quiz, then the explanation. • Then your 3 missions. They change daily, matched to your goals and to what holds you back. Or write your own and they stay. • Tick one off and the app asks: Done? An optional photo stays on your phone. QUIT WHAT HOLDS YOU BACK • A clean counter for each addiction, live to the second, with your best run and milestones. Alcohol, smoking, cannabis, gambling, parties, social media, porn, or your own. • Slip and the counter restarts. Your best run is kept. • On iOS 16 and newer, StepZero locks the apps and sites you pick, system-wide, with Screen Time. Older iOS gets a guide to block sites yourself. • The Trigger Map learns the hour you actually fall. WHEN THE URGE HITS • One tap opens Coach Zero for 30 minutes, beyond the daily limit with an account (trial and Pro). • The emergency voice talks you through it. • Your video promise to yourself waits for the hard moment. It stays on your phone. • The Relapse Protocol: three steps, one trigger, one comeback. COACH ZERO • A real AI coach who knows your day, your streak, your open missions, your clean days and what holds you back. • Four styles: Direct, Calm, Supportive, Easygoing. After a broken streak he turns Supportive for 48 hours. • With an account, he remembers you across weeks, in notes you can delete. • Signal suicide or self-harm and he stops coaching and shows crisis hotlines. KEEP GOING • Your streak with its flame, XP, badges and seven ranks to Legend. • Standard counts any day with a mission done, and a Streak Shield absorbs one missed day. Hard Mode counts only 3/3, with harder missions. • A weekly league across five tiers and seven-day duels (with an account). Friends by code only — no contacts, no DMs. • StepZero runs in seasons: the first lasts 60 days, six take you to day 365. ALSO INSIDE The Academy: 46 courses, 184 lessons. 10 audiobooks. Deep Work, a focus timer with 50 fish ranks. A journal and a home-screen widget. Eleven languages. YOUR DATA Triggers, photos and your video stay on your device. With an account, the server keeps your profile, league data, the coach's notes and clean and slip stats for most modules. The coach sees excerpts only after you agree. STEPZERO PRO Try 14 days first. Then Pro yearly or monthly; the app shows the price in your currency. Pro opens everything: 50 coach messages a day with an account (up to 15 in the trial), longer memory, all 46 courses, all seasons to day 365, Streak Insurance (1 slip per 7 days) and a monthly Comeback Token. After the 14 days, StepZero continues with Pro only. Always open: crisis help and hotlines, the emergency voice, Relapse Protocol, Settings and account deletion.
