Playback fixes from a device-measured audit: • MKV files now start at the very beginning on fast networks (they could skip the opening minutes). • MKVs with FLAC, Opus or MP3 audio play with sound. • Embedded SRT/ASS subtitles are shown and selectable; forced subtitles switch on automatically. • The right audio track is chosen: the film's language, Dolby Atmos first, commentary tracks skipped. • Films with TrueHD or DTS plus a Dolby Digital Plus track now use the native player (faster start, HDR kept). • Resuming shows the film's real time and you can scrub back to the start. • If native playback fails, the VLC engine takes over automatically. • iPhone: Jellyfin MKVs play through the native player on Wi-Fi; HDR10 no longer freezes.
