When a shoot, property visit or garden decision depends on natural light, one date and a map pin may not tell the whole story. GoldenPlan brings likely sunlight and shadows into one clear plan before you arrive. Choose a place, date and time, then explore the daylight timeline. See the sun direction on the map and open useful events including sunrise, golden hour, solar noon, sunset and blue hour.
If the first date looks uncertain, compare it with another date in the same planning session. You can inspect both sets of light events without saving duplicate plans. Enter the height of one vertical object when you need an approximate shadow length and direction. This estimate assumes level ground and does not model buildings, trees, terrain or weather.
Start with one saved plan free, including notes. Add a device-local reminder to a readable saved plan, or select one plan for the small Home Screen widget. The widget shows the next useful light event even when notification permission is off.
Choose Full Access when repeat work needs to stay organised. Start another visit from an existing plan without changing the original. Add selected reference photos, review a prefilled Calendar event and prepare richer PDF or image summaries for a client or colleague. You confirm each Calendar event, which remains a separate copy.
Exports bring together the plan’s map context, event windows, sun and shadow values, notes, selected photos, comparisons and optional business details. GoldenPlan stores plans locally first. Full Access adds private iCloud continuity through your Apple account when available.
Use GoldenPlan’s estimates as planning guidance rather than surveyed or guaranteed conditions. It is not a safety, engineering, weather or solar-compliance tool.

Set device-local reminders, prepare Calendar events and repeat a saved visit. Create richer exports and use a Home Screen widget for the next useful light event.
