Save any document the council writes as a PDF and share it straight from the result. Pro members can now keep every new session private by default. Open questions and drafts get a real answer instead of a forced yes or no, and long documents get more time to finish. If Council can't read your message as a question, it now shows examples and lets you ask anyway. Runs on a weak connection stay saved to your account.

Kimi K3.1 joins the council as a Pro model: fast, careful reasoning over long context. Starting a Pro trial now opens with three questions to try first, and Council can remind you before the trial ends. Profile is tidier too: all your notification settings sit under one Notifications row, and the page scrolls properly when you're not signed in.

When the council is split, Pro members can now bring in one more model and see whether it settles the question. The verdict is rewritten with every view. Council also remembers your earlier questions: ask something related and it picks up that work on its own. The input screen suggests questions based on what you've asked before. And Gemini 4 Argon, Google's flagship for the hardest calls, is now a Pro option.

Leave the app while the council works and you'll get a notification when your answer is ready. Tap it to open the verdict, or switch it off in Profile. Ask about a file you didn't attach and Council offers your recent document in one tap. Voice input handles recordings up to 8 minutes, and a failed one can be retried without recording again. From an advisor chat, send a follow-up to the full council in one tap. And advisors answer questions about Council itself more accurately.

When your free questions run out, you can now buy 10 councils for $4.99. One payment, no subscription, never expires. A question paid this way shows every advisor's full answer, and you get the same number of follow-ups as Pro when you continue with one advisor.

Council now updates itself between store releases: fixes arrive at the next launch, and a banner on the Ask screen says when an update is ready or a new version of Council is available. Long attached documents are no longer cut short: Council reads the first pages in full and a summary of the rest, so a 40-page PDF no longer stops at page 6. Ask for a web search or deep research and the lookup gets more time. The interface language is picked from your device's whole list of preferred languages, not only the first. The History header hides as you scroll down and returns as you scroll up. And a question with an emoji is answered in your language.

Ask for a piece of work, such as a draft or a diagram, and you now see a preview of the first version while the council is still comparing. Ask a follow-up and the council updates that work instead of starting over. If your question points at a file you have not attached, the app offers an Attach a file button instead of guessing. After a thumbs-down you can say why with one tap. There are new models to pick for your bench, including Claude Haiku 5.5 and GPT-6.1 Sol. And you can now rate Council from your profile.

Photos you attach now show on your result. Attach a picture to your question and it appears above the verdict. Tap it to open it full screen. Follow-ups got simpler: the button now reads Ask a follow-up, your new question builds on the earlier one and its answer, and on the free plan the first 2 follow-ups on a question are free. Follow-ups also stay on the original subject and in the language of the conversation.

Drafts now read like documents. When you ask the council for a written piece such as a brief, a plan or a letter, it appears with real headings, lists and tables instead of raw text, and Code still shows the source to copy. When the council largely agrees (75% or more), free accounts now see every advisor's full answer, and the vote dots on the shortlist are always visible. The Compare options button on the Ask screen now shows its name beside the icon.

Keep the conversation going. Under a verdict, tap Ask the council again and the council answers with your earlier question and verdict in mind, so you don't start from zero. A Follows up on link takes you back to the earlier session. History has a new Legal topic to filter by. And verdicts on law, court deadlines, medication, diagnosis or treatment now end by saying who should confirm the specifics. When you ask for finished work like a diagram, code or a draft, the analyzing screen now says the council is drafting it, which takes a little longer. If a Pro payment fails, the app tells you, keeps Pro on during the grace period and links to Update payment.

Council Pro now unlocks the full council: every advisor's reasoning and where they diverge. Also: faster, more reliable runs, and reopening the app no longer runs the same question twice.

Straight answers: ask a factual question and the council now answers it directly — yes, no or it depends — instead of forcing a pick between options, and Instinct gives its own answer so you can see whether the council agreed. Share a verdict to earn a free question, and anyone you send it to can ask their own in one tap. Related verdicts now show each topic's emoji, the panel that answered and how much it agreed. Also: long questions keep their line breaks, expert takes open independently, a question written in English is answered in English whatever language the app is in, and links in answers can be tapped.

Instinct: a first read of your question, seconds after you ask and while the council is still deliberating. It says how reversible the decision is, whether it turns on personal taste or on facts, and, when you have named options, which one it leans to. Once the verdict is in, you see whether the council agreed. Compare options: list the two to five choices you are deciding between and the verdict's shortlist lines up against them. Also, the label naming each expert's angle on your question is now translated.

Fewer interrupted councils. A brief hiccup on our side used to end your question outright — now Council retries and carries on. And if something does go wrong, the message explains it plainly instead of hinting that you had run out of questions.

You now get to your first verdict faster. After the short intro you land straight on the question box — no sign-in and no paywall in the way. Ask, read the panel's verdict, and decide about Pro afterwards. Also fixed: the intro no longer replays if you closed the app before finishing setup.
