Your PD now appears once you've marked four points — marking your nose bridge is optional and only adds the per-eye numbers. Points now land where you aim: press, drag to line it up in the magnifier, then let go. And if the camera was turned off by accident, there's now a way back to Settings. Fixed an interruption that could land right as you retook a photo, before you had a chance to see the measurement you just took. Your PD result now settles on screen before anything else happens, so you can read it and check the frame fit without being rushed. Stability fixes for devices that were closing the app during a measurement.

Accuracy fixes from your reports. • Results read slightly low: the reference card sits closer to the camera than your eyes, and the scale now accounts for that. • Fine-tuning a marker moves it at a third of finger speed, so repeat measurements agree much more closely. • Each result now shows its accuracy range. Please re-measure — older results use the old calculation and are left out of your average.

Your PD will read a little wider than before, and that is the point of this update. Eyes turn inward when you look at something close, so the pupils in a selfie sit closer together than they do when you look into the distance — and distance is what glasses are made for. The app was reporting that narrowed figure. It now asks how far away you held the phone and corrects for it, so the number you get is the distance PD an optician would write down. Expect roughly 1–3 mm more than this app used to show, depending on how close you were. The card goes under your eyes now, on your cheekbones, not on your forehead. The forehead sits about a centimetre nearer the camera, which makes the card look bigger and quietly shrinks every measurement. The on-screen guide has moved to match. Per-eye PD is now a real measurement. There is a new tap for the centre of your nose bridge, so the left and right figures come from your face instead of being half the total twice over — which matters if you are ordering progressive lenses. Older saved measurements are kept and still shown, but they are left out of your average, since they were taken the previous way.

Alerts now arrive properly on Android instead of landing silently, and the app no longer interrupts you in the middle of what you came to do.
