Polarity A/B on Tests: 100 Hz, three rounds of in-phase then inverted. B quieter means the pair is wired correctly. Test any speaker the right way. Speaker & Subwoofer Test plays clean, accurate audio so you can check headphones, phone speakers, soundbars, car audio and home subwoofers — and hear exactly what's working and what isn't. Whether you're dialing in a new setup, hunting a buzz in the dash, or making sure both channels actually play, this app gives you the test signals the pros use. WHAT YOU GET • Tone generator — play a steady, pure tone at any frequency from deep bass to high treble, with adjustable level. • Frequency sweep — glide smoothly from low to high to reveal weak spots, rattles, resonances and the true limits of your speakers. • Left/right channel test — confirm stereo wiring and balance by sending sound to one side at a time, so you know which speaker is which. • Polarity & phase check — make sure your speakers and subwoofer are wired in phase for tight, full bass instead of thin, hollow sound. • Bass & subwoofer test — push low frequencies to find the lowest note your sub can really reproduce and check for distortion or port noise. WHO IT'S FOR Car audio installers and enthusiasts, home theater and hi-fi owners, DJs and musicians, studio and AV technicians, and anyone setting up new speakers or headphones who wants to find rattles, fix wiring mistakes, and get clean, balanced sound. HOW TO USE IT Start with the left/right test to confirm wiring, run a sweep to listen for rattles and buzzes, then use polarity and bass tests to lock in tight low end. Use moderate volume — test tones can be loud and may stress drivers at high levels. A NOTE ON SAFETY Protect your hearing and your gear. Begin at low volume and raise it gradually. Sustained loud tones can damage speakers, headphones and your ears.

Polarity A/B check. Verify: Tests tab, tap Polarity A/B. The meter holds 100 Hz while the line under it alternates A · In phase and B · Inverted, three rounds, 13.5 s. On a correctly wired stereo pair B is clearly quieter than A. If B is as loud as A or louder, one speaker's + and - are swapped. A single phone or mono Bluetooth speaker goes silent on B — that is normal; see Guide step 5. Play Right Channel first if you only have one speaker; silence there means this test does not apply.
