Safer, and harder to lose. • Backups now carry your photos and voice memos too. Bring them back with Settings → Restore from Backup; restoring the same file twice won't give you two copies. • What you're writing is kept on your device as you go. If the app closes mid-entry, "Continue Writing" brings it back. • Photos, drawings and scans can be taken off an entry again, and a drawing reopens with a tap so you can keep adding to it. • A stronger lock: it now covers the page you were writing, and your entries stay hidden in the app switcher and on widgets. • Widgets and the Control Center button speak all four languages, and the calendar's labels are fixed. • If a save fails, you're told — and what you wrote stays put. All of it happens on your device. No account, no server.

More can go into an entry now. And past days can be brought back. • Draw — sketch inside an entry, with Apple Pencil on iPad or a finger on iPhone. The strokes are kept, so a drawing can be reopened and added to. • Scan — photograph an old letter or postcard and the paper's edges are straightened out. Whether the text it reads goes into the entry is your choice. • Bring photos in from Files, or send them to Harudam from another app's share sheet. • Fill past days from photos — pick a range and the photos you took then are gathered into one entry per day. Screenshots are left out, and photos already in a journal are marked. • Import from Day One — an export from Day One is read as it is. Importing the same file twice does not give you two copies, and an import can be undone. You can also export a chosen period in Day One's format. • Fixed dictation repeating your first words. • Permission prompts now appear in all four languages. All of it happens on your device. No account, no server.

1.0.1 started with the feedback you sent after launch, and grew to take in the iPad and widgets. New • The iPad is an iPad now — it opens in landscape, in three columns: journals and collections on the left, a list of DAYS in the middle, and the whole of the chosen day, read as one page, on the right. • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, plus a Control Center button. Your streak and the day's memory are on the Lock Screen. • Today's memory — past entries written on today's date, waiting in Discover. • Today's moment (iPhone) — pull in a suggestion from Apple's Journal app in one tap. Apple builds the suggestions on your device and only the one you pick reaches Harudam. • Timeline filters — narrow to photos, voice or favorites straight away. • Choose and switch journals — in the timeline and while writing. • Tap a tag in Topics you return to to see just that tag's entries. • Settings → Sync diagnostics — the app checks your iCloud account, what this device holds beside what iCloud holds, and what the last sync did. • Take a photo without leaving the entry. It stays in the diary only; Settings → Photos can also save it to the Photos app. • Keep music from other apps by sharing it. In Spotify, YouTube and the rest, tap share and choose Harudam — the track lands in today's entry next time you open the app. (iOS gives no app a way to read what another app is playing, so sharing is the only route.) Fixed • Fixed entries and photos never reaching iCloud from iPhone. A device with photos could not upload anything at all. • The default journal each device created for itself is merged into one, carrying its entries and tags across. • The lock now opens with Face ID or Touch ID only — never the device passcode, which someone you share the phone with may know. • The default journal is called My Journal instead of sharing its name with the Daily tag. A journal you renamed keeps your name for it. • Settings → Sync diagnostics now shows what this device holds beside what iCloud holds, and what mirroring last did, errors included. • Close no longer saves. An entry is kept when you press Save, not when you close. If you have written something, closing asks once — save, close without saving, or keep writing. Opening the editor and closing it no longer leaves a blank day behind. • Empty weather — a single missed location reading used to take the weather and temperature down with it. Weather now checks for itself, and says why when it can't. • Simpler editor — the "moment" buttons are gone. Whatever you chose to capture (place, weather, music) is attached automatically, right under the date. Pick what gets captured in Settings → Automatic context; step count is off by default. • Weather now carries the temperature: today's current reading, or that day's temperature for past entries. • Timeline cards show more — temperature, photo count, and a location even when its name couldn't be found. A text-only card now opens wherever you tap it. • Redrawn mood faces: five expressions on one continuous line. • Fixed a bug where only the first entry of a day would open when you'd written several. (Favorite and delete could also act on the wrong entry — fixed too.) • Starter tags follow the app's language. • Record a voice memo and the transcript is appended to your entry. Transcription stays on your device. • Map — entry detail now has a map card, with a pin for every photo that carries location data. • Bigger photos — full width in an entry, and a neat justified layout in the gallery, with no cropping or overlap. • Tapping a timeline card opens the entry to read, not to edit. • Settings now shows the real iCloud sync state for this device. (Sync is still off by default — turn it on per device.)
