The app also scans local reports for real-time bite forecasts and lure/fly/hatch suggestions. Works for any spot in the US or Canada - freshwater or salt.
WHAT YOU GET
• Wind you can trust. Three forecast models (GFS, ECMWF, ICON) compared side by side, leading with how much they agree — so you know how confident the forecast really is.
• Tides & water. Smooth tide curves, high/low times, a nearest-station picker, water temperature, waves, and current for coastal spots.
• Rivers & lakes. Live USGS river gauges with flow (CFS), gage height, and trend for the freshwater crowd.
• Local Bite Report. Scans recent public fishing reports near you and blends them with seasonal patterns to tell you what's working now — with links to the sources it used.
• Fishing score, explained. A 1–10 score for your spot and time, with a plain-English breakdown of every factor pushing it up or down — so you learn why, not just what.
