Branchlane is a private, native Git client built for Mac. It works directly with the Git repositories and credentials already on your Mac—no Branchlane account, cloud sync, or Branchlane server. BROWSE FOR FREE - Open local repositories and clone with SSH or HTTPS - Browse branches, tags, stashes, commit history, and diffs - Keep multiple repositories open in native tabs - See branch, remote, author, date, and ahead/behind status at a glance UNLOCK BRANCHLANE PRO WHEN YOU NEED TO WRITE - Stage files, hunks, and individual lines - Commit, amend, discard, stash, cherry-pick, revert, and reset - Create, switch, merge, rebase, and delete branches - Fetch, pull, push, and force push with lease - Continue or abort merge, rebase, cherry-pick, and revert operations GIT ERRORS WITH A WAY FORWARD Branchlane turns common Git failures into guided recovery screens. Inspect an index.lock, verify whether it is stale, reveal it in Finder, and remove it safely without dropping into Terminal. Missing author and origin settings can also be fixed inside the app. LOCAL-FIRST BY DESIGN Repository data stays on your Mac. Branchlane uses your existing Git installation and credentials. Subscription status is handled by Apple through StoreKit. Branchlane Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription. Eligible new subscribers can start with a 14-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
